Hi gyus, im looking for new reel im thinking about Cyclone vs Black widow vs tourna big hitter black/silver ? Its someone who tried all of them? I want more spin, better comfort. Thanks

cyclone/black widow lose their shape rather quickly (usually within 4-5 hrs of hard hitting) tourna maintains it’s shape better.

I research more yesterday, i found some new interesting string. Some info about signum pro hypertion 1.24/WeissCANNON Scorpion 1.22 /MSV Hepta-TWIST 1.25 /Topspin Cyber Flash 1.25 ?

Between Black Widow and Cyclone (I’ve never tried BH), Black Widow is much softer and comfortable that Cyclone. Conversely, the latter has a harsher and unpleasant feel that I didn’t like the least, although the control was excellent. Black Widow is more tolerant and it can be strung at 25 kgf without any fear, or even 26. Below that, it feels a bit vague and the ball tends to fly out without you anticipating that from the impact. If you are a hard hitter and a good level player, you might prefer Cyclone, but string it lower, 23 or 24 max.
These are my impressions from using both on two identical Pure Drives, and BW itself also on several other frames more, some heavier, some lighter.
There, I hope this helps.

For me, BW is much better than Cyclone and HeptaTwist, never tried BHB or others.

Lots of free power, spin, comfort, but after 5 hours it goes wild...

I really like Black Widow as well - needs to be strung up a few pounds heavier than other strings but it remains comfortable at higher tension. Awesome spin and power while retaining good overall feel (especially for a poly). I haven’t noticed the string going wild after the first few hours but agree that it doesn’t last as long as strings like Hyper G or Cyclone. Control is good - not as pinpoint as Confidential but it hits a livelier ball.

I have a lot of friends who swear by Cyclone but I didn’t love the feel. Haven’t hit with BHB yet.

Ive had good success using black widow 16g with SPPP 17L at 36/34 in my vcore pro 97. I think soft shaped copoly like black widow or VCT benefit a lot with a thin round cross that provides good tension maintenance
