Don't quite agree but she was certainly up there.

This is another sign of getting older - Hantuchova has been around forever and I remember her when she first emerged onto the scene...
I don't wanna turn this into something awkward, but who is your favourite?
Just curious.

Yeesh, had no idea she was even still playing. Had the most massive crush on her when I was still at uni.

Big fan of hers, but after so many years of getting nowhere it is the right choice. She was such a good player, but she ran into Serena so many times at slams. It seemed every other major she was getting knocked out by her in a 3rd or 4th round.

I thought she had already retired.
So did I; around 2015 was the last time I remember seeing her in a draw. She had a very long career. At her peak, she was a tier below the elite - good game and a threat when on, but often didn't have the head for it on the biggest stages. Nice doubles career as well, and I always forget that she has a mixed doubles career Slam. She stuck with it for a long time, and seemed like, even after her prime, she just enjoyed playing, the travel, making some additional money, and hanging out with her friends on tour- I think she said as much in an interview years back. Kudos. Good luck in the tennis after life.

I remember when Daniela Hantuchova was dominating Ana Ivanovic in the semi finals of the 2008 Australian Open. Hantuchova led 6-0, 2-0, and was really schooling Ivanovic up to that point. In the end, Ivanovic came back to win and there was a controversy at the end over Ivanovic's squeaking shoes or something. When Ivanovic then played Maria Sharapova in the final, the press dubbed it "squeak vs. shriek".

I remember her first mixed doubles major well. Goran Ivanisevic won Wimbledon on the same day.

Got to see her up close several times. She really didn't look skinny at all. She looked athletic, strong, and beautiful.
Definitely will have a career in modeling if she wants it.

Will probably need an industrial strength airbrushing machine on hand to hide all the sun damage.

I've been within 2 meters of her, few times, training spandex shorts/bra combo included. She's very skinny, borderline anorexic.
Still pretty, though.

I never rated the young Hantuchova looks-wise. She just looked like a thin lipped anorexic. But now....hotttdamnnn!!!!

Maturity has been incredibly good to her. Watching her Wimbledon interview about her retirement, she looks so sexy. I don't know if she's had minor cosmetic work done or simply grown into her features, but however it happened, she's just one seriously hot MILF.

Some of my fondest memories of Dani...no ones on the WTA tour turn on their high beams like Dani... :(

Ahhhhh . . . bless her. She was quite good when she was peaking.

But I will always fondly remember saying Daniela "Hantuchoka" every time she let a big lead slip away. ;)

Anna was more cute than hot, but her feminine, long blond ponytailed, makeup-wearing cutest stood out among her contemporaries, and made her an endorsement dream.

Actually, apart from her good looks, I think Dani must be one of the last breed (apart from Radwanska) on the WTA tour who played a truly feminine game...no attitudes, no heavy grunting, none of those excessive ATP wannabe strokes...yes, those WTA strokes, ineffective but a real pleasure to the eyes...and she sweats with grace, too...

Anybody who thinks she's anorexic doesn't understand the nature of the beast, she has the same body shape as my wife ( who eats for two ) I also have family members who have been bulimic and developed full blown anorexia.
Playing a competitive tennis match for two hours at Indian Wells would have been impossible with that condition.
So no, she's thin, but naturally so in my opinion.

And yes she's hot.

At some stages she looked downright sick.

5 grand slam QFs, 1 SF, 2 Indian Wells titles, 4 mixed doubles majors, a few top 10 finishes.

One of my favorites. Have a fun life Danu!!
