Danielle Collins calls it quits after 3 set loss to Iga Swiatek in the 2R

So you think she has no options in life and she is desperate for Kids at 30 ? and thats a bad thing huh ?

Not everybody is aimless in life, people have clarity about their purpose on this earth. Having kids, spreading your genes is the basic purpose of humans on this earth, otherwise whats the use of playing tennis, travelling, studying, earning and blah blah blah? Your actual contribution is your contribution to the gene pool on this earth as a specie.

Pretty sure a world famous athlete who was ranked 7 at her peak understands that, it is not something to be ridiculed/looking down upon..... She wanting kids at 30 is a very noble and sensible thing for her, plus she'll get better suitors than any online warriors like any of us here. Your hubris to think that she is desperate at 30 and would say yes to anyone here really amazes me.

No one is ridiculing it, I have a massive crush on her and you're totally misreading the joke. But thanks for the lecture dad

She is quite spoilt and obnoxious.

Danielle is one of the most BLUE COLLAR athletes on the WTA tour.
Her dad was a plumber and she grew up on public courts.
When she makes it to a final, her speeches are always some of the longest on tour, thanking ball kids, tournament volunteers, etc.

Danielle has -- and continues -- to spend as much time with NOT spoiled people as anyone on the tour. She plays with a fiery intensity on court. But she's very much not spoiled off court.

She trained at a country club as a junior. Your average plumber's daughter is not doing that. BTW, who said all plumbers were poor?

Her attitude on court was obnoxious. What she does off the court is not my concern, especially as she is not famous at all for news about her coming out.

She can Netflix and chill all she wants after this year lol...I think she'll be back as her competitive spirit will make her too restless like Wozniacki. I am not a fan of her on court yelling however. Ditto for Sablenka and Muguruza grunting and yelling.

Well said. Spunky and real. Pretty too I must say. The Tour is better with her playing.

Father was actually a landscaper. What impresses me about her is two NCAA Championships and she has a Masters degree. Turned pro at 24. She's a success. She's quite charming off court.

First, thanks @Bill Lobsalot , I said plumber, I meant Landscaper.
Second, I didn't say poor, I said blue collar. Huge difference. My point was she did not grow up entitled.

And training at a country club isn't a surprise. Parents make it work, and some clubs will take great kids with talent on at cheaper rates because there is cache -- same reason expensive private schools offer athletic scholarships.

I 100% agree she's intense on court, but I think in large part it's because she has a chip on her shoulder, which is the opposite of entitlement. She went to UF, didn't play, went to UVa and won national championships.

As for the "I'll help her out" posts, I don't think Danielle would date anyone who spends their lives on a tennis forum talking about Russia all the time
...agreed, and I find the internet predator culture's behavior toward female tennis players sickening. See early Bouchard threads, where the pedo intent was off the charts. Disgusting.

Growing up entitled has nothing to do with blue collar. A blue collar father (BTW her father owned a landscaping company, he wasn't only a worker being sent on jobs) can make quite a bit of money and spoil his daughter with lessons in a country club. She would then be said to have an entitled background. Her on-court attitude is one of "I am the right person to win." Whether she believed it or was raised to pump herself up that way does not matter - it is all about what we have seen of her behavior. She is just privileged Florida material probably having an underdog fantasy.

PS: Just read that her father was a recreational tennis player. And you were thinking he was a poor landscaping guy trying to make ends meet LOL

You really extrapolate details Loosely.

First, every pro athlete thinks “I am the right person to win”.
You don’t even get to that level without crazy confidence.

And what does being a rec tennis player have to do with money? It’s one of the cheapest sports to play.

You don't like her, fine. We all have our faves And our dont likes.
but seem to hold a weird personal grudge over an athlete who’s overcome many obstacles to be amazingly success and who by all accounts treats off-court personnel at tournaments extremely well.

Yeah you are right. I just remembered her struggle with endometriosis

You're just guessing here. You don't know.
Her on-court attitude is one of "I am the right person to win."
Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods have that attitude as well.

I give her credit, her tennis career earnings will give potential children a great start in life.

As for the "I'll help her out" posts, I don't think Danielle would date anyone who spends their lives on a tennis forum talking about Russia all the time

I never said "date" lol. No one has to know

Lol, so you are a sperm donor? What makes you special for her to consider you?

Are you an elite athlete or someone with 100s of millions in wealth or a handsome taller version of a young tom cruise or do you flirt like Craig Ferguson & behave like Barney Stinson ?

Are you ********

That's a serious question

Like I am clearly just joking around and doing "guy talk" and you are trying to serious it.

Not serious at all brother, I am just wondering where you get the confidence for such words by being in your early-mid 40s (you confessed this yourself many times) and yet thinking that you don't even need to date a 30 year old world number 7 athlete, you could just waltz in there and give her babies as she is that desperate? So you must be some sort of a super rich guy / Tom Cruise / someone with Craig Ferguson's personality? ... Guy talk is all good but where is all this confidence coming from to undermine a famous woman celeb this extent? lol

I guarantee you that she is not trashy or desperate.

Yeah I can't help you. You'll need to see someone who specializes in communicating with autistic people.

So now you are throwing around autism as an insult along with your so called guy talk ?

Bud, what I am saying is at 44 you are too old to look down on a 30 year old danielle and say that she would need babies from you, there are plenty of guys of her same age around. The "guy talk" you are doing is creepy!

Even if Danielle is single and available emotionally, she might still fall for a 30-35 yr old guy who would make a move on her and look for dating her without being intimidated by her stature/aura. Not this sperm donor nonsense that you are peddling here, it is too creepy even for guy talk, let alone coming from a 44 year old middle aged man.

I stand by the autism diagnosis. Everyone laughed and got the joke but you

Not looking down on anyone. She's taller than me and I'd gladly let her be on top @MichaelNadal

Everybody understood your "joke", even me, it is just that not everybody is impressed at your confidence. Being a 44 year old internet poster you making such comments on a 30 yr old former world number 7 athlete and then having the audacity to even write that you ain't looking for dating, just giving her kids ? LOL .... So people are gonna further joke around and ask you what qualities do you have to feel so....

These 2 posters are definitely not impressed @Rosstour ;)

Watching her on court is painful, so it must be unbearable for her. Hopefully she can find something fun and fulfilling where she doesn't turn to a demonstrative person.

I volunteer to give her the children she wants
Hope you can afford the lifestyle she wants to maintain and kick any morals you have to the curb, otherwise it's child support for you. Ain't worth it.

Make her sign something that says you won't be held liable and everything is just for funziez. Even then she doesn't even look good.

Dude you are a simp and worshipper of women. Hopefully your genes won't carry on.

Why ? If she is richer, he would get her some of money as well.
