"Sets Djokovic straight" LOL .I hate "news" articles like this and unfortunately they are becoming the norm on the internet. "Person X shuts down Person Y for ...." "Person Y destroys Person X for ignorant comment". How about letting people read the article and decide who is right and who is wrong?

Maybe, but you could also say that pros today would laugh at past champions for failing to maintain their athletic ability and turning into mugs by the time they hit 30. I see nothing wrong with players becoming extra professional in their approach to their careers. Greats in every sport are now playing at a high level into their 30s because of all the resources they pump into keeping themselves in shape.

Today's champions? You mean the hilarious prima donnas, who threaten to abandon tournaments, if the surface is not changed to their liking, get handed towels so that they don't expend energy and need a minute between points, on top of being pampered top to bottom, WHILE playing 80 matches a year (if that)? Yes, Laver, Rosewall, Connors etc surely are impressed.

NO US open without Djokovic and top stars. Will this Kill the tennis in USA ??? Tennis was already in decline as one of the popular sport while golf continue to grow. will this absolutely make tennis one of the sports seldom played by public with no popularity ??? How do we bring back the days of Macenroe and Connors and Agassi ?

also, Novak is openly speaking how he feels, not telling anyone what or how to do. Nothing wrong with it.
Collins telling him about how he can run his team and things is ridiculous. In his case, he may need a coach and Physio to run basic things. The USO plan is ridiculous, as laid out.
10 minutes after, the sports channel is showing the US baseball story of reopening and 50 players on the same field bumping into each other with 1ft distance between them.
orangutan has been promoting free opening and no masks...

Novak (and a few others) have expressed his view and no need for others to call him a whiner or try to impose own views...

all I am saying is that it is not @sureshs fault.
if we would attack for opinions everyone who strikes the ball with less quality than Collins for example, then probably 100% of this forum should stop typing forever.

But the fact that neither claims Monaco or Bahamas as their official residence for tax purposes says something too.
