Tsonga has a bad habit of being a slow starter. And the clay is very slow, his forehand and serves are much less efficient. It looks like the third set of the Miami finals, slightly slower, more spin and slides. So Tsonga can't even finish off the likes of Berlocq these days?

Well, you slow start the first set, you loose it, and you step on the throttle to win the 3 next ones. But we're at the end of the 4th set now.

He seems pissed off that his level of playing is much lower than in the second set, while Berlocq started to play better again. Some frustration, lower first serve percentage while the second serves are less efficient. He's not going to like the clay season... :lol:I'm talking about how he's unable to wrap things up in the 4th set and just error-ing it into a decider.
Is Jerzy 'The Bad' Janowicz playing?
Isner might beat Djokovic if the match is fixed like they are fixing the Simon-Monaco match. What a disgrace.
It's tennis, not professional wrestling.

lol matches are fixed all the time. Especially matches like this that not many people are paying attention to. Juan Monaco has been absolutely dreadful this year and it's sad if you actually believe he is legitimately beating Gilles Simon in straight sets.
But Monaco hasn't played on clay at all this year, which also happens to be his best surface.
I'm not naive enough to believe that tennis is completely free of match-fixing, but I highly doubt it would occur at this level between 2 Top 20 players who make pretty good money. Davis Cup World Group Quarter-Finals isn't some obscure challenger event watched by only 50 people...I'm sure it's a fairly big deal to tennis fans in both (fairly prominent) countries involved.
Match-fixing is far more of a concern for guys ranked in the 100s-200s who would be struggling to make a living. Guys who have career prize money in the millions probably wouldn't risk it all for a kickback that makes up a relatively small proportion of their earnings.

Donskoy came back from 2 sets down against James Ward to win 4-6 4-6 7-5 6-3 8-6.
Monnnnnnnnnnnnnn Isner on fire taking it to the world number 1 all out attack just as tennis should be played sensational
I'd believe this if Davydenko wasn't already involved in match fixing.
wasn't he eventually cleared of any wrongdoing?

If the us go two down there is no way back same goes for Canada.
Is Querrey the most overrated server in tennis history?
I cant believe it..james ward lost from 2 sets up ..losing 8-6 in the 5th..baaaah
2-0 down to Russia already..if we'd have won this rubber then andy murray was going to play in the play-off to get into the world group...I don't see a miracle comeback somehow.
Yipeeeeee!
Ward and Evans came good in the final 2 rubbers against Tursunov and Donskoy!
You little beauties!
This means GB seals a 3-2 win against Russia after coming back from 0-2 down and will now go into a playoff for the world group in September and Murray has already promised to make himself available for the team if they get there!
Well done to Ward and Evans and the doubles pairing of Fleming and Marray (the latter standing in for the absent Hutchins who is fighting Hodgkins Lymphoma). Well done also to captain Leon Smith who managed to get the team through even without Murray on board!
Things seem to be looking up for Team GB at long last!!!
Why didn't France use Gasquet or Benneteau?
