He definitely was the surprise in this tie - this was very much like when Rios was playing, and we always took those two singles rubbers for granted... and when Rios lost one we were left standing like a deer in the headlights

Nobody was counting on Gonzalez losing to Andreev. The guy played very well this weekend, even in the face of the less-than-polite local crowd.
