Gg Murray Great Britain should win this whole thing I'll be cheering for them.
Tomic had some fantastic moments during the match but mental lapses during a few game handed over easy breaks
Murray.
Murray's defence was incredible but tomics inability to move to the net and put away easily volleys cots him a lot of points. tomic needs to improve his footwork and net game and could perhaps make top 10 one day.

GBR should have the entire Davis Cup in the bag now unless something big happens like their only player getting injured. Haha. Awesome for Australia to reach the SF, onwards and upwards next year! I think they have to play if first match is won in straight sets. If won in 4 or 5 they can agree not to bother.

Yup, just googled it myself and found this which is basically what you said. Must be horrible for the aussie guys to still be out there for a dead rubber, especially given the location they are playing the tie. Still, more tennis on the bbc!

At 3-0 they have to play a match on sunday, at 3-1 the fifth match is not mandatory but if both teams agree they play (Aussies are good sportmen so not too surprised they agreed to play it). Also Kokkinakis will play in Metz in a day or two he probably wanted some more practice before going there and play Granollers.

I think the Aussie faithful have a lot to look forward to with their Tennis, Kokkinakis is a talent, 19 years old, top 100.

Tomic has matured, top 20 now and he's had a career high season. Hewitt will be DC captain for 2016, he's a true leader and will rally his troops.

Groth is having a career high season, John Millman and Ducky are also in the top 100, Ebden and Patrick Smith are on the way up, Australia though needs Marinko

Kyrgios will hopefully sort himself out which I think he will. I hope you win the DC next year!

You should be allowed to play only one singles player in Davis Cup: ie Murray should have been allowed to play all 4 singles matches for GB. Would have been interesting to see how he went....better than Mr Evans I suspect.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing.

Haven't you two heard of dead rubbers, which are best of 3 sets? Some ties do end after the fourth rubber if the tie's result is already decided, but that has to be agreed by both sides.
