I saw that also when I was watching and I was pretty upset. I knew the match already happened, but I intentionally avoided finding out the results so I could enjoy the match. So, what does ESPN do? About 15 minutes into the coverage they flash Davis Cup Results on the bottom of the screen and say Croatia 2, USA 1 and then give the results of the doubles.
Just great ESPN. Just when I think they are turning their crappy coverage around and are starting to give us some quality tennis, they do this. They were fabulos during the Australian, I can only hope they keep it up for the other majors as well.
Also, why have they started showing Davis Cup on ESPN Classic? I will tell you why. It's because I don't get it.
