People on Twitter are saying he’s had a similar reaction to Chardy
Lol it actual BS to force him to reveal what he has done to his knee. He had a surgery...i don't think he is better than Nole to fake an injury ??? I mean why he would do that specially when he is about to retire with in a year or two.Shrug
I have a naturally suspicious mind, I always read between the lines and always assume there is a selfish motivation that people are trying to conceal.
I'm a huge Fedfan but he doesn't escape those tendencies
Yeah 2 cent trolls are terrible as your user name suggests44 days have gone by since the announcement and we still don't know what brand of eyelash makeup Roger was wearing on that occasion..
Isn't he missing on a huge endorsement opportunity ?
And his long-form birth certificate while they're at it. For all we know, he's not even actually Swiss...I demand to see all the X-rays and hospital documents relating to his injury. I want to have a call with his doctor so that he could explain to me his prognosis and healing progress.
You're a huge twat, that's what you are.Shrug

The title suggests that Federer disclosed that information today
Yes, the birth certificate too!And his long-form birth certificate while they're at it. For all we know, he's not even actually Swiss...
44 days have gone by since the announcement and we still don't know what kind of operation it was, which part of the knee, or heck, what the problem actually is with his knee. I don't even know which knee he injured and got operated on, I refuse to study his posture with crutches at LC.
After all the press exposure and media events he has done since, with Laver Cup and all, hasn't one reporter asked him already?
I don't understand why he would keep this a secret this much. It's not like he needs to hide it from competition because he'd give away competitive advantage.
All we know.. all we've ever known is... it's a "knee injury needing a knee surgery". That's all folks.
Rafa was born with an anomaly of a tarsal bone in the left foot. It has been a well known fact since it started to bother him at the age of 19 (in 2005). He talks about it in his autobiography, "Rafa: My Story", published in 2010. He was told he might never be able to play tennis again. Fed devotees have laughed at that career-threatening injury for years.Since when did pros tell everyone such details? I recall that recently some information about Nadal's foot came out but that seemed like an exception to me. I don't remember hearing much about Djokovic's elbow, for example.

I have written about it a zillion times since I joined the TTW. Here is an example from 7 years ago:I haven't read his autobiography and the recent info was the first I heard of it. Anyway, my point stands: most pros don't give us details of their injuries.

It's you own fault you are underinformed. Info about Rafa's congenital left foot problem has been available for over a decade.Believe it or not I hadn't read your TTW post from 7 years ago either.

There's the way to circumvent WADA's regulationsThe first bionic knees? He'll be faster...stronger... part man, part machine.
"In medicine, bionics means the replacement or enhancement of organs or other body parts by mechanical versions."
If Fed said he had knee injury/surgery , why would one doubt him ?
