Dear Nike,

Never have I seen so much hype with the "Love Is Bold" Nike campaign for such a totally not bold at all line of apparel for Summer. What a total snooze!

Seriously?! This is the best Nike can do?!

Blue is overdone. So I have made a green Nike McEnroe-esque Vapor X

A more fun version of his trainer. Needed more checkers :)

WOW! Really cool job. Such a shame that nike doesn't seem to care much about their tennis history. They became the default athletic brand that can't be really associated with any sport in particular, just sports in general.

In all fairness the blue looks nicer and less jarring than the gaudy pink at the Aussie Open.
That may will be, but it’s so lazy and predictable. They just pick a complementary color to the prevailing shade of the court at the given grand slam and that is the color scheme. What do you want to be the prevailing color is going to be some shade of red at the U.S. Open?

I like red!

OK. What the hell was Nike thinking in designing Rafa’s gear for Wimbledon. The material in his kit is COMPLETELY transparent and looks RIDICULOUS! Seriously!?

This is the face of your brand now Nike. This is the best you can muster!?

Nike tennis lines have been bad for about five years. Do they really need 3-5 crews, 3-5 polos, a few Henleys, plus RF (well, no longer) and Rafa shirts? The only good thing in all of that variety is that you stumble onto something good once in a while. The checkered crew is awesome as it's simple, but with with a unique texture.

They should really cut back on the volume and I am as big of Nike ho as anyone.

A Henley, 2 each polo & crew; would cover each "season" and give the rank & file players options so they would not have to wear the same kit as another Nike endorser, as it is bad advertising to fail to showcase the line.

I'd love it if Nike would do some light cotton shirts (not the summer heritage or novelty polos, they "seem" to plain and heavy?) again. I refuse to wear polyester shirts, I never find them comfortable. It'd be great if they did the retro shirt. I remember James Blake wearing a retro Agassi shirt in the US Open many years ago, I was waiting but Nike never released the shirt :(

Good luck trying to get any of that Adidas x Palace gear from Wimbledon. Sold out in seconds and is already appearing on **** for 10 times the price!

He can use the regular tennis line....

To my surprise you are correct on the availability of the colab line.

You are wrong on the asking prices of those at the moment.

Why not buy Lacoste? They invented the cotton tennis polo. Great quality. Close in price to Nike.

I’ve recently acquired a couple Lacoste kits in the Novak line. I really want to like it. Love the slight.y tailored lines. No question the stuff is great quality, but I don’t like the cut or fit of their shorts, because:

1. I find them oddly thick/heavy, in part because they have an odd cotton lining. Not like a bathing suit lining that holds your junk, but an extra layer of cotton. I feel like I shouldn’t be wearing my normal athletic underwear.
2. They are not as stretchy as other shorts.
3. Most of all, I find the cut unflattering. The simply aren’t tailored, flare out too much in the legs and have on seam pockets.

Really wish I could love this brand......
