Hmmm. It was in a doubles draw, near the end of a long event, so that makes sense. I have been hearing a few instances of parents being asked for doctors' notes after withdrawals. Does not providing one lead to suspension points?
Also, can anyone shed any light on the "admin" withdrawal? Does that simply mean that the excuse is viable, but non-injury related?
what does it say when a ref defaults the player because of bad calls or getting in a fight with a ref? also is there like a list of all of these and their meaning....
I believe that admin is used for these defaults as well. I know of one conduct-related default that I just checked out, and it says def(ad) on the draw sheet.
dont forget pe (player error)
Def. for conduct (cond.). This is NOT for admin. Admin means error by the referee or tournament director.what does it say when a ref defaults the player because of bad calls or getting in a fight with a ref? also is there like a list of all of these and their meaning....
PE could mean that they signed up for the wrong division or tournament.Someone got defaulted for (pe) player error in a local tournament. What does this (usually) mean?
