Del Potro and the crowd are a disgrace

2 phenomenal tennis players, each with their own supporters leads to a discussion like the present one. Put Ramos in the umpire's chair and it gets more interesting as the rules will have to be observed rather than ignored.

Time-wasting tactics, bias against the Serbian player, and a disgusting crowd that, year after year, does this ********. The US Open is the worst Grand Slam out of the 4, I’m sorry.
Agree.

But, crowd is fine on other masters tournaments in the US. Its only crowd at the US open that is bad every year.

Everything is fair so far.
Crowd is loud and there are several times of Djokovic’s split second over 25 sec. limit but it can be understandable.
When crowd is quiet, Djokovic serves within 25 seconds.
Just let them play the match instead of another controversy.
So far she is doing good job.

The US open crowd Made a 20 year teen Apologetic and made her cry yesterday . Why ?
Bcoz She won without Cheating .

I say forget the Crowd , they are useless idiots .

Dealing with the crowd is part of being an athlete. Everyone needs to stop crying.
BS. This is over the top. Also, this type of situation does not exist anywhere else. You only got racuous, out of line crowds like this in team sports usually, it's a lot for one player to take when it's a whole stadium against them. And US Open is very bad even by bad tennis crowd standards

Match would suck if everyone was quiet. Novak seems to deal with it just fine if you ask me. Djokovic made his bed a long time ago by being a d*ck and they haven't forgotten it. Foolish to be outspoken about Roddick in NY. He asked for it.

Fair enough, I'm sure that contributed to it. It's their right to root for whoever they want but the jeering and stuff is a bit much. Just my opinion

Agree. This is par for the course in many sports and that's just how it is, but in tennis there is an expectation of respect from the crowd and the New York crowd is out of line.
