Juan Martin del Potro is actually planning to make his comeback on the ATP tour on the clay court tour in South America in February. Now, however, those plans seem to be on the wane due to ongoing pain. The pain increased as the intensity of Juan Martin del Potro's training increased. And that of all places at the point where the tower of Tandil had to undergo an operation. Accordingly, there is currently no official confirmation from the 33-year-old as to whether he will start in Buenos Aires and also in Rio de Janeiro. Juan Martin del Potro has not played an official match since June 2019. While preparations for a return to the court have been going on for a few weeks, the Argentine has now ramped up the intensity and was about to play the first sets with compatriot Juan Ignacio Londero when complaints flared up again. The following applies to the return of Juan Martin del Potro at the moment: nothing is certain.
