Del Potro new racket for 2012

The word, 'JUICE' looks like 'aero' on a Babolat.

The colors look sort of UCLA-ish, and sort of Argentine flag, too.

96 headed Pure Drive Roddick, is what.
You can just feel the Babolat-envy.
I'm guessing DelPo will use the 6.1 95....with this PJ in 2012. The string pattern will tell.

I bet the 6.1 Tour 95 (knockoff of the 90) will sell well.

He is a top 200 ATP Player

Have to be honest, that racquet sounds freaking cool. If I was not so happy with the EXO, I'd be all over it. I just prefer a more open pattern and thinner beams, but I love how they have a racquet that hits like a PD with much lower flex. That is the way to go IMO.

Bob is this your stick because I'd like to give it a few swings to satisfy my curiosity sometime.

Hhha, that is humbling. I'll tell you, the average former D1 college player or teaching pro chuckles at just about all the crap posted here.
Guys with world rankings must generally steer clear of this place to avoid injuries from laughing out loud.

I don't know who he is....
I asked a few friends....and my friend that is South American told me that Robert Farah plays with Babolat, so why would you, BOBFL have a Wilson racquet if you are really Robert?
Is that for real? Players visit this site? Shouldn't they be out practicing somewhere?

Bob uses a paint job and is constantly sent demo sticks since other companies want him to switch.

I figured it was Robert Kendrick, who is from Orlando and currently #227, rather than Robert Farah, who is from Bogota, Colombia.

^^^^^
So what Tommy Haas is from Germany but he lives in Florida
Murray Is from gb but he trains in Miami etc...

Thanks for the pics Bob. Not bad. I can live with the colors if it plays with a little more plow than the Kpro Tour. How is the stability at net? does the racquet get pushed around?

OMG if that is true!! ( I dont think that it is though,,,, looking at BobFL´s previous posts, it seems strange that Bogota based pro Farah would play around in Orlando with "normal" guys ;) ) Farah is one of my favourite players on tour!! That season (2010) he had going from college making a clean house in all the futures there in the beginning. Really interesting player to watch. Really good in doubles. I think he soon will be top 50 i doubles.

Season's over. He has all the right to be on the Internet.

Whoever at Wilson signed off that paintjob should be fired, and never be allowed to work in the industry again. Ever.

Great question! Believe it or not my answer is - NO. I played with it for 3 straight days before I totally accidentally put it next my my other racquet and noticed that it indeed was a bit longer. Btw, 27.5" racquets mess me up especially on my bh side (1hbh). Serve also needs some relatively major adjustments. As an aside note, I used Prince Red for a few weeks maybe 6 months ago and I also had no issues with +0.25".

Now, flex.....well I would be VERY surprised if it is above 63. It feels REALLY soft (but not flexy - I explained this little theory of mine in other thread) and comfy. For a reference I put Tour Bite 16L on mains and N.VY on crosses at 57lbs. I hope you got my email? As I said in my email, slice is b.e.a.u.t.i.f.u.l.

Bob, do you know how thick is the beam?Hopefully not PureDrive-thick.

This looks to be the same 96 sq in mold as the KPro Tour and BLX Pro Tour, just .25 longer. The beam is 22/24/22 on those 2 racquets.

Bob could you comment on volleying with this racquet and the stability at net? thanks

Actually, KPro Tour and the juice have completely different molds. 100% different. The throat design is different, the bridge is different and the hoop is different. The cross-section on the KPro Tour at 10, 2, 6 and 4 o'clock is thinner. The juice is more like nPS or 6.1 Team in that area.

Sure. I liked it around the net because it is SO HL. Actually it is balanced very similar to Nenad Zimonjic's racquet (needless to say, his racquet is heavier 13.1oz IIRC). It is super maneuverable. Pace killer volleys are exceptional and the pace you can create on volleys is medium-high. As a reference point, PD gets 'high' in this category.

Would this racket work well for girls too ?

It seems strange they would come up with a new mold that is also 96 sq inches? Looking at the photos of the BLX Pro Tour on the TW site, it looks the same as your pictures of the Juice Pro.

I don't see it as strange at all. Besides, there are several examples that marketing inches are not the same as actual inches. Maybe they call it 96 but in actuality it is 98 or 100? I am positive that KPro Tour mold is 100% different than the juice. No question about that.

I guess I have to take your word for it, but your pictures look exactly like the frame mold in my hand except mine is dark green.

Will see when you get one. Maybe it is going to be one of those "I stand corrected" moments on my side :) Until then, I am pretty sure they are different :)
