The Postive:
Federer's serve has improved alot. His dropshots were beastly which may help agsinst nadal

The negative
Federer is still spraying too many forehands long, which is something he could work on.

LOL, you're the one coming in here saying Del Potro is playing like crap, etc. And no, Nadal did not play like crap against Del Potro. He was beating the living snot out of Del Potro in the 3rd; Del Potro turned his game up and started crushing winners to get back in it. Murray also played the same game as he always did; he just isn't that good on clay, and Del Potro is better.



All you've done so far is try to put a player who is infinitely better than you ever will be when he's out there playing as well as he can. Federer is just simply a bad match-up for Del Potro, especially on clay where most of DP's weapons are nullified.



And yeah, Del Potro is only #5 because he won a bunch of minor tournaments. That's all. Wait a second.... he won 4 in a row, made the finals of a couple, made a few deep runs in some major tournaments (TMC, AO, IW, Miami, etc.) and has pushed his way into the #5 ranking.

Yea he's hitting a portion long. Nadal was UErrors too though. We'll see

i will agree with this. i don't see what the point is in smack-talking during a match thread (when there are so many other threads to talk smack on). if you aren't enjoying the match or you don't like the participants, then why bother logging on to the forum??

i was watching the nadal/nole match, but i was bored. i didn't like the looping rallies and the lack of aggression. so i went to work out. i didn't log on to b*tch about the match while others were trying to enjoy.

but whatever.
 
Well served out from Roger, DelPo didn't play as well as he could have though I think his style is a nice match up for Roger anyway.

I don't think Roger was as shaky as people were making out, and lets face it, on the bigger points Roger actually delivered today.

It doesn't matter how tired Nadal will be. You have to remember who Nadal is playing tomorrow. Federer has so many weapons in his arsenal that I am quite confident he will find the one that is out of bullets when he is double break up on Nadal. Federer always seems to be able to find a way towards defeat

Because that is what Nadal fans do. They try and do the best they can to put down Federer. Just wait until tomorrow and we'll see who's more rude than who.
 
yeah fed. I'm quite happy he won and I know that he had pretty decent draw, but still happy he reached the final, because it's been a long time,and I don't care if he gets trashed by nadal, atleast he got to the final!
 
roger will probably lose nadal tomorrow but it doesnt matter the matter is he should find his form again that he is doing it qite well in this torunement..

ı must say that the fact that nadal is tired wont be a factor tomorrow..

anyway congr. to roger he looks comfortable on the court againand will have a chance to see himself against nadal just before grench open..

Hamburg 2007 situation. I think if Nadal doesn't win in 2, he's going to lose.

Nah, Nadal usually just beats him. But we'll see tomorrow. Conditions are ripe for a Federer victory.

i think federer should shift his grip towards western a little bit more, hes using a complete eastern right now as proved by FYB

hes missing a lot of forehands
 
del potro will have todd martin's career, virtual clone....too bad murray wasn't out there, but that's his problem
