The_Racketeer,

The demos should be up in the next 3-5 weeks for those two racquets.

liftordie,

The Prince Warrior Pro 100T ESP is a light weight and maneuverable racquet. It will be easy to generate racquet head speed as it weighs just 10.3 ounces strung. The 14x16 string pattern will give you easy access to spin but will also have a higher launch angle. There will be plenty of access to power as well. The racquet will offer a comfortable yet crisp feel.

Here is some customer feedback we received regarding the racquet:
Comments: After too many racquet changes, I finally have a keeper. I'm a solid 3.5/borderline 4.0. I last played with a Babolat AeroPro Drive, and bought this stick as a flyer as I previously played well with an EXO Red. Well, after a string change and a generous addition of lead tape as suggested in another review, I started playing even with and even winning against players who had routinely beat me. I especially enjoy when an opponent lets a deep shot go thinking it will be out, only to drop in. One note is that it doesn't handle 16 or 17 gauge well. While the feel is great, I broker those gauges after 6 weeks of play. So trust Prince when they say go with a 15 gauge. I'm a 3.5 playing both singles and doubles.

Comments: So, here's the skinny on this racquet...It's light, very light. Forget what the swing weight states, it is light! And with a even a soft poly, it vibrates, a lot. But here's the good news: lead tape at 9 and 3 going up to 11 and 1 as well as counter balanced in the handle to make the racquet 5 pts head light and a semi firm poly -- Prince XC 15g at 46 pounds pre-stretched -- this becomes a howitzer with a laser scope. I'm not kidding. The difference with some easy customization is amazing. With the open string pattern and the flexibility of this frame, it's "point and shoot" time. And you don't have to force the shot, just let the frame do its thing. You'll love it, hope this helps.

Comments: I just purchased this racquet. I love it. After months of research, I purchased this racquet because of the light static weight, near even balance, and open string pattern. I took it out for the first time this weekend and didn't drop a set. The previous weekend I lost three straight sets. Same opponent both times. This racquet compliments my flatter hard hitting game. The spin isn't as dramatic as I thought it would be. It gives me just enough to improve my angles while offering a comfortable, clean feel. I strung the racquet with Prince Warrior Hybrid Control 16 String at 56 pounds. I will string it a little tighter next time. I am a solid 4.0 player, and play 4-5 hours a week.

Comments: A very powerful racquet!

Comments: Excellent racquet. Light and very maneuverable. Huge topspin on groundstrokes and good pace on serves. I am recovering from tennis elbow and had no pain after two hours. Volleys are easy to handle. Because of my chronic elbow problem I tried many different racquets and found this the most arm fiendly. I enjoyed a lot hitting my one handed backhand. Strung with syn gut 16L at 56 pounds. I am 48 years old and 5.0 NTRP rated player.

Comments: Good racquet. Light and very easy to swing. Power and spin are easy to access. Good choice for players who are not very strong and want to be more agressive in a game.
From: Eric, 2/15

Comments: My coach just gave me this racquet before a set of round robins. Coming from a Prince Tour 16x19 string pattern, the spin was efficient and my game is a solid 4.5. What I noticed immediately was the massive amount of bite, feel and spin firing off this frame. Control was not a factor. Out of 3 matches, I won the two easily against players that I usually loose to, while the 3rd loss was a real sandbagger that should have played 5.0+, yet my loss was 4-6. It's really fun to see the shanks and huge mishits from my opponents due to the spin factor. Great stick -- I'm buying 2.

Hope that helps,

Thank you :)
What jauge and tension did you recommend for this ESP? For best mix of spin, confort and durability?
Thanks again

liftordie,

I would recommend a thicker gauge due to the open string pattern like 16 or 15L. Tension will depend on what string you are using and what you are looking for (power or control). I would recommend starting at mid tension (60 lbs) and adding 2-3 for more control or decreasing 2-3 lbs for more power.

Thanks,

liftordie,

Yes, the extremely open spin patterns tend to cause strings to break faster. The racquet already has a ton of spin potential so I don't think you need a 17 gauge. If anything, you can get a textured/shaped string for more spin if wanted.

The "problem" is that I have two textured/shaped string sets that I wanted to test... In 17 gauge... :)
I will try and see...
I have also an old reel of Prince Synthetic Gut Duraflex 15L. Do you think it could be a good choice with this frame?

liftordie,

My advice, go ahead and try out the strings! If you already have them and want to test them out, I say go for it! You won't know what you like until you try!

Yes but there is too much strings.....
I will stay with my Prince Synthetic Gut Duraflex 15L. It is a great and old value.
Do you have reel of it in black? Or it only exist in white?
Thanks

Anyone here already tried a multi (TGV or HDX) 15L on a Prince ESP?
I spin a lot but without too much power, do you think it can last 10 hours??
