Diadem Nova V3

I’ve asked the following in another thread but wanted to share quality control and see if anyone has any suggestions on customizing.

I have 2 Diadem V3 Nova 100’s at a shop for some customizing but unsure on what to do.

I was looking to get
305

When I try using the customization tool, I only get partial success or lead in weird ( to me ) places. When I started this process and used the target specs, it was pretty simple. Adding 3grams in the handle and 2 grams at in the hoop seemed to get it pretty close. I understand it may not be perfectly matched and am willing to budge a little on the desired specs. The guy at the shop is saying that we need to focus on matching the weight and balance. He insists that if we match the weight and balance, then the swing weight will take care of itself. What would you do and how would you do it, if you were in my situation?

Try this spreadsheet: https://www.briffidi.com/sw1-guide/ios/pages/customizing_racquets.html

Easier to mess around with to see what works. You can start with what the TW tool suggested and tweak from there.

Also consider changing the stock grips. They use their "hybrid grip" which weighs similar to a leather grip. You can shave off a couple grams switching to a synthetic grip

My wife had been using a 2021 Pure Drive 100 for the past year or so and after a match she started feeling her elbow for the 1st time. Since I switched from my 2023 PA98 to the Axis 98 for the same reason, I recently got her a Nova v3 100.

As expected her 1st reaction was that it "vibrates a lot less, and really is more comfortable". And with lots of power, as she likes.

So overall we are both happy users of Diadem rackets, keeping our Babolat rackets only as backups.

Both the Novas and Elevates V3 have the Kraibon (rubber) material added in the foam.

Much more stable and more confo sensation between the V3 and V2 Elevate which I've compared side-by-side same strings, same balls, same everything.

I'm just not fan of the paint-finish on these models.

I have never seen an Elevate in person, but I quite like both the Axis and the Nova v3 paint jobs, and so does my wife.

Although I think that Diadem could release mid-life alternate paintjobs for the Nova v3 and Elevate just to have something new to show, maybe attract a different customer taste. Just like they did with Elina's custom paintjob, but could be generic non-personal for the Elevate and Nova IMO.

Edit: just saw that Elevate already has a Blue and Teal color options, so that leaves the Nova v3 only.

Edit 2: like a white Nova v3 for example?

The Axis has a glossy or semi-glossy paint finish.
The Elevate V3 had the same velvety/rubbery paint-finish the Head Speed Auxentic 2.0 had (hideous in my opinion).
The most hideous paint-finish being the previous Pro Kennex Black Aces. Sticky - rubbery paint on the non-black parts of the hoop and throat.

The Elevate V3 was such a phenomenal control-frame. What killed the joy for me was the paint and the fact that the Kraibon made too TOO MUTE compared to the Elevate V2.

Personally, I'm convinced that the rackets that the velvety - rubbery paints do affect the way vibrations transmit.

The Elevate while having a semi-open string spacing around the sweetspot, it has the last main string very close to the side of fhe hoop, taming down the power/trampoline effect of the whole stringplbed. It's contradicting.

I'd like denser string spacing (more uniformed) and more space between the last mains and the hoop

I personally like the PJ of the Elevate V3, and I find It to be a pretty powerfull frame for it's category. I would also say that the feel on the Elevate is better than on the Axis 98.
I also removed the replacement grip of the Axis and changed It to the thinner Head Hydrosorb Pro and now the feeling is better. The grip on the Elevate is the Vintage one, similar to a leather, and the feel is great, imo.

I have all my Elevates and Axis 98 customized to 310g, 31,8.cm balance, 297 SW.

The White Diadem is the Dreams 105

They released a limited Teal Elevate V3 colorway in the past. I would imagine a 2026 refresh for the elevate is in order, but I haven't heard anything yet

Today I played with my wife's racket (Nova v3 100) a few games against friends. It is not my usual style and weight of racket, so I had to adapt my swing somewhat in game. But indeed it has the same excellent comfort I know from mine (Axis 98) when hitting big, and that similar power and launch angle from a Pure Drive. So it was definitely an upgrade for her.
