I got selected to test out this new string from Diadem. I will post pics when I get the string :) I was wondering if anyone else will be testing it out here. Or if there are any Diadem sponsored players who have had a chance to hit with it. Thank you for any information!

I am a possibility..
It is not a copoly, the proto m.
Aa mono core nylon sync gut (PA - polyamide ) .
It will be interesting what there chemistry recipe turns out.

From our testing in the arm friendly / durable/ strong stringbed life / good tension main & with decent spin potential:
We have found Babs Origin to be tops mono polyamide.
In Second is: WeissCANNON NewElement 500
Mid to low tensions, usually do not turn out well for polyamides because of there higher elasticity...
But as we know, everyone has different hands and swings.
So find what works for you...

Mono Z = Zyex (polyketone)

Okay guys, I am stringing this up now. Diadem xt 16 in the main at 56 proto m in the cross at 58. In an APD. It is supposed to be a durable multi meant for hybrids so we will see how it lasts.

okay guys, just got out for my first two ours. I ended up stringing diadem xt at 53 in the mains and diadem proto m at 55 in the cross. I usually play with a full bed of poly strung around 52. I found that this string is very powerful, if I restrung this racquet I would string around 58 for the proto m. It pocketed the ball well from the start, there was very little friction between the strings for the first hour, then my strings were notching and beginning to fray. just like every other multifilament, it locked up the poly main and spin potential decreased. directional control was great. Overall control improved as the strings began to notch. we will see how long this string holds up, I will play another two or so hours with it tomorrow.

So far I'm impressed. I usually break hybrids like this in 5-7 hours so it will be interesting to see how long it lasts [emoji848]

Nice socks!! @MC8279 :)
I got mine in the mail, will hopefully string it up in the morning and hit with it on Sunday. I think the color is awesome (better than their turquoise strings). Will see how it plays this weekend

Thanks, man! The strings feel pretty good in my hybrid setup. A lot more power than synthetic gut, which is what I typically use for my crosses. Have fun hitting on Sunday!

Full bed @ 54/53 lbs in a Tecnifibre Tfight 35 LTD 18 Main :)
Played and won 2 sets today. So far, I am a lot happier with this string than their Solstice string. Comfortable, good control, power, and adequate spin. I will be curious to see how it plays over the next few sessions. but so far, I am very happy with it. The one thing I forsee killing the string....price. If this is $13 or less a set, I can see it selling very well. (But, I only have had around two hours on the string)

I wonder why your set is labeled as "Azure Blue". Mine is called, "Night Blue" and so is the other tester that posted their picture. Maybe Diadem is also testing names as well.

Could it be possible that they are 2 different strings? I got the Azure Blue as well, and its a 17 gauge. @Zavist's Night Blue string is 16 gauge

Hi there guys, God bless you all, I just cut them off today, the string is very very soft, very easy to string, strung @50 full bed, I used it for 6 1/2 hour's, I hit and played some sets, the string starts very playable, when you start to hit the ball with spin, the strings move everywhere, I'm not use to have the string moving, (I use full bed of copoly Dyreex Hexablast 17 @50 and the string stay in place), Proto-M has good power, great comfort (because the softness of the string), good feel, spin, when the string are in place you can generate decent spin, but when the point is done, be ready to start moving your string back to place (maybe a hybrid with copoly would be a good choice for this string, but I preferre full bed) well in the future i will try a hybrid with this string, just to see what it brings to my game. I hope my non expertise comments about the Diadem Proto-M strings helps the experts to figure out this new strings. GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

It does seem like a very short time to playtest the string!!! I need to get out and hit!!! The reviews are due on April 23rd!!!
I haven't noticed any string movement yet, and it's still extremely comfortable with good control. I can see this being a great option to soften up a stringbed. It feels slippery, so paired with the right string, it could be an awesome combination (I am thinking Max Power or any other round smooth poly)

Also, did anyone else's string uncoil into a crazy tangled ball when you opened it? It was easy enough to straighten out. I was worried it was going to have a ton of coil memory, but I strung it up easily. No complaints from a stringing perspective!!!

I am going out to play tennis until my legs fall off with my Tec LTD and the Diadem protoype string!!! I will be curious to see if the playability has changed much, as this will be the fourth time playing with it. Then I have to finish writing my review, which so far, has been positive. I hope the string will see the market, and my only concern is going to be the cost.

I have some of this new string, too. Is this mainly supposed to be used a cross string or full bed? I'm not sure how I want to string it up.

After a short time, the mains started to stay displaced. I'd be interested to see how it performs as a cross, with a poly in the mains.
