Hi guys! I just ordered a couple of sets of all of the diadem strings and I'm going to try them out and post my reviews!
Yes, I will be reviewing those as well. Probably evolution in a hybrid but impulse in a full bedIncluding impulse and evolution?
I have a singles UTR of 5.34 but it's not very accurate because I don't play a lot of matches that affect that rating. I play a lot more doubles. And the singles I do play is with a college buddy of mine. Him and I are going to be playing soon so I may post a video of that and you can see how I play. I'm excited about the strings though.Nice! Do you have a utr?
Do you keep them both at the same tension or do you string them differently?Evolution is a great hybrid cross string when paired with solstice power.

Nice! Have you been able to compare it with a full bed of solstice power?I did same, vcore 95 16x20

I'm hopefully gonna play some singles matches this week so I can see about the durability. I'm also gonna be trying some other gauges and some other rackets as well. The strings definitely might have been a tad too powerful at times when I wasn't putting a lot of top spin so I'm curious how long the playability last and whether or not the tension drops too low to where it's all together to powerful. Thanks for the thoughts on these strings! Keep updating on durability, restrings etc.
I might bump up the tension just a few pounds to get a tad bit more control
Ok, guys so I've played a couple singles matches in the past week or so with some of the diadem string. Here are some links to some of the videos. In the first match, I am using Diadem pro X 16 @65 lbs. and in the other match I am using diadem solstice power 16 @ 68lbs.
Sorry if my posts were a little bit confusing but when I mentioned to bump up the tension a few pounds that was about the strings in my head boom mp. I always string my gamma RZR Bubba 137, normally @65 lbs. and I used the gamma Racquet in these videosToday I learned a few pounds is 15-18.![]()
I actually don't mind the tension loss cause I can control the power with more spin. Have you ever tried stringing it tighter to where the tension loss sets in at the tension you like. Or maybe pre-stretch if you can?I have been hitting with a full bed of Diadem Solstice Black 16G at 53/48 for about a year or so in my Prince Ripstick 305 16x18s. I really enjoy gut/poly hybrids but they were not well suited for this stick.
Solstice Black is a nice comfortable poly and I like how it performs and it certainly can produce plenty of spin when used appropriately.
My only knock is I only get 1 hit out of it before the tension drops so far I have to restring it. I string my own racquets so I don't mind that I have to do that but I caution those that don't that this is an issue.

Is this the new Boom MP with Auxetic 2.0?OK, I just strung up all four of my head boom MP rackets, each with solstice power 1.20, solstice power black 1.20, pro – X 1.20, Solstice power 1.20 in a hybrid with evolution 1.30. All are strung at 50 pounds. I'm about to hit indoors and I will give an initial review tonight
LOL how'd your racket not collapse in on itself while playing? Haven't heard such high tensions since Kevlar strings was a thingToday I learned a few pounds is 15-18.![]()
Which one are you? The one with the oversize racquet?Ok, guys so I've played a couple singles matches in the past week or so with some of the diadem string. Here are some links to some of the videos.
