@InsuranceMan actually you may be right

It is evident that the wides were made using the same footbed as the 1st generation Torneos

The second generation Torneos have the weird US-EU size conversion change which may have impacted the length
Unfortunately I think so, because I would have loved for the 13s to fit me well but with the apparent difference it seems like I need the 12.5 Wides, which I cannot find in stock anywhere :(

Right as I first put them on the width felt beautiful, it's a shame really.

Would like to note that after playing quite intensely in my Torneo 2 Clay (Standard Width) for over a year, and recording well over 300 hours of play, the treads STILL have no smoothness and grip almost as well as they first did. Very, very impressed with the D5000 tread or whatever its called, so I wanted to share. I mean I have really beat these things up because I'm cheap, and it has just amazed me. The uppers have tears and my soles were burned through a long time ago but I have never seen tread durability like these tennis shoes in my whole life.

I have slightly wide feet (at the toes which sucks) and was recommended the Torneo 2 as something that is roomy.

However, when I check the sizing conversion chart on Diadora's website, my usual US 10 is mapped to EU 43 / 27.5cm.. I'm pretty sure that's a 9.5 in other brands. Usually US 10 is EU 44 / 28cm

Can anyone confirm if I should go with my regular size 10 or go half-size up?

When I last tried them they were true to US size so I'd stick with 10 if that's your US size.

I’m a size 10 and bought these in a size 10 and find them to fit true to size. From my experience an EU 43 is the equivalent to a US 10. Hope that helps.
