Diadora Speed Blushield 5 AG

Hit with my clay pair last night. No shocker here, still love these. Gripped pretty well, and gave me pretty good traction on a fairly saturated clay court. It's been raining a ton here in Atlanta, Georgia in the US.

The nice thing is I've been getting comments from players asking me what company made my shoe, let alone what shoe am I wearing. Half the people here don't even seem to know Diadora even exists? Can't recommend this shoe to enough people. Looking forward to a nice neutral colorway in these, hopefully just a white shoe with a black/blue Diadora logo for Wimbledon. The grey/saffron color in my all court pair have grown on me a little bit, but I'd still prefer most colorways to this...

Do these feel/fit wide in the midfoot and toe box? I was able to just use a wise toe box before but now need a wide mid foot as well.

Midfoot seems very nicely wide for me, but I will say the funneling in of the toebox annoys me at the front. Outside toes get run over a bit.

thank you. that could be a concern for me too. So far I've been enjoying the Head Revolt EVO

Slightly over 2.5 months in now. Starting to wear through the sole of the left shoe. Forefoot tread is getting stripped and front inside has worn so the white of the midsole is beginning to show. Cushioning is still effective. As I cannot find replacements, I am either going to continue wearing until I can find replacements and can make a warranty claim or am going to need to get something else in the meantime to get me through. I cannot bear the thought of going back to my Gel Res 8s.

Having searched what is available - it is slim pickings. May have to go to Nike Cage 4s or Asics FF2s - although I do not want to. Other potentials I guess are Wilson Rush 3.5 and Head Revolt but I am concerned that the Heads are not cushioned enough for me

Recently purchased this shoe. It definitely feels heavier and it shows in movement. So had to exchange them.
I'm addicted to sock like construction ( where the tongue and shoe are attached) and this shoe has traditional uppers- tongue and shoe separate. This impacted the way it fits the leg.

I agree. It is mostly for seniors looking for a really plush shoe. They are in no way a fast race shoe like Asics
Solution Speed FF 2 for instance.
