Not round but I’m liking both Element rough 16 and Hyper G Soft in the Doppio as a straight Element alternative. Element is still home base but I’m exploring these others for the hell of it.

It’s amazing how The different grip shapes from different racket companies ken really change the angle of your racket face and wrist on your strokes, which then intern completely or should I say slightly Change the launch angle and depth of your strokes

Have experience with none of them but have heard from enough trusted sources that the Extreme Tour is great frame.

If it was still available on TW it would have already been ordered. There’s no easy way to get it right now. One of my coworkers does have family visiting Japan at the moment but I don’t think they will want to carry a racquet back for me.

Looks like Tennis Spins latest vid is on the Eurostaff. They both seem to compare this to the previous gen VCore 95.
Curiosity has gotten the better of me. I hit my UT again today and now I am looking for a UP 16m. I thought for the longest I would be fine never having tried it, but here we are. Waiting for them to come back in stock at wilson and then will be looking for a discount and then matching specs to my Prestige Pros.

@snoflewis brought out his PT2.0 and let me whack the ball around with it. This one surprised me. Hits a big, heavy ball. High SW was less of an issue than I expected. Feel was awesome as expected. Firmer and more stable than the PT280. Sweetspot wasn’t as generous as the PA or doper but reasonable for a 95”. Reminded me a lot of the IGPMP but smoother response. Great stick.

Yeah I love them both as well. I think I am a little better with the XL so thats why I have been using it all the time.
But yeah, PK really does make very unique ,slept on frames that are really good for modern tennis. The new Banana line is genius, really. Doppio is like a Pure Drive meets a Prestige.
Very soon Gads will be able to give us the Black Ace Pro impressions. Love to see if it is as good as the Blade v7. Very similar balance and weighting with those.
The magic question - would you extend it .25?

I started out tonight with the RF97. Thought I'd give it another shot but only lasted about 6-7 games with it before I admitted I can't use it for an extended period of time. It will just tire my arm out too fast. I used the Eurostaff for half a set and it swung like a feather compared to the RF97. Nice racquet but not my style.
I played a set with the Prestige MP and this was way more the way I prefer to play. Being able to swing out and moving my opponent all around the court. I can't rip my OHBH with it like I could with the 2 PS I used earlier but it hits a wicked BH slice that I can control pretty easily. It does make me exert some energy, especially on the serves. I had to bring the UP16 in to finish out the 3rd set tiebreaker as I was starting to lose too much power on the serves with the Prestige.

Also feel like he’s going to really like the Doppio, along with TB, but that may be my own bias projected. I specifically sent him my older Doppio because it’s more of a true Doppio in its stiffer flex and thus slightly higher pop as opposed to my two newer ones which are anomalies with a lower 60s flex (which I love but are less representative of the whole... though seeing his love for the “soft drive” maybe I should have sent him a softer one. Not sure as I’ve never hit that frame to compare).
This could be magical indeed but sadly impossible here, I think, as it doesn’t have a foam pallet. Was told from the people who extended my UTs so beautifully that they could only do this with the Wilson/Head type frames with the pallet system.

JGADS and fellow PK fans. I really need to thank you all. After about a month of deliberation, I placed an order for 2 matched 2019 PK Ki Q+ tour pro 325 from TWE. Received them last week. Strung one up with 17G HyperG and another with a combination of Head Lynx Rough/Gosen Polyol on the crosses. These frames are really really plush and I'm really surprised for 320+ Static weight (unstrung), how easily the frame swings through the air.
I was reading your messages saying that with the Doppio its just the tennis you need to focus on as the racquets are so predictable.I now understand exactly what you meant.
They're like the Phantoms plus a tad bit of Power and POP.
Thanks again. BTW I snapped these brand new at Euro68 each!!!!

Super glad to hear it, mate. The European pricing on these several frames has been criminal. I’ve contemplated grabbing a 325 myself just because of the pricing.

No Black Ace Pro impressions today. Partner couldn’t play tonight, and I tweaked my back anyway so I am likely out at least a few days, but will see how this goes. Once in awhile I get these spasms and there is nothing you can do except chill and curse. Will refer all Ace questions to sir @Pneumated1

Bummer. I hope the back is ok. I was looking forward to this review, but I am sure you will be ok in a few days.
I can say that S7T does not seem to offer the level of feel and control that TB17 does. Tb17 keeps working for me. I am starting to question if TopBanana#2 is just a different beast. This is why I almost always stick to the same string on a new frame because now I am not sure if the frame just has a lower SW or what.
I will go grab some more TB17 and try it in #2. #2 feels like it has a lower SW even though it is heavier. It also feels less plush. But that could very well be the strings. It's a mystery for now. I will put these on an RDC and try and get some answers there.

Maybe frame hasn’t broken in as the other one has? Although I can’t say mine felt like they had a break in at all like my blade pros or some other frames have had. Get those things measured up if you can so it removes all of the guessing game.

So I’m looking forward to my blade pro. I’m trying it again in a 3/8. My last foray with this frame was 1/2. So that’s why I decided to give it another shot. This time I will put in a super soft string. YPTP. In 120. That’s how cool this frame is. If I can get my game up to 85% of my potential with this frame rhen I would switch to it. That’s how cool it is to use a pro stock. Amd its the best looking frame of all times. Let’s see. My prediction. I’ll get frustrated from its hefty feel. I’ll sell it. Then rebuy it when they come out with the new paint job thinking and hoping that some how the new paint will make it more headlight.

Had a first round singles match today in an open level local tournament. First time in years I’ve played a meaningful singles match. I squared off against a 14 yr old up and comer with a huge forehand and a monster serve. In spite of the fact that my forehand is on absolute walk about (has been for years), I managed to come away with a straight set win.
The racquet simply felt amazing. Firm, but still that subtle give that I have come to marvel at with this frame. Never had to worry about the arm objecting when dialing up a flat first serve. Hit a couple dirty slices, drop shots, and drop volleys. Had a bunch of service winners, a couple aces, only 1 double fault. I’d hazard a guess my first serve percentage was better than 60%…which considering how much I go for it, I’ll take that any day, twice on Sunday. All in all, a really good day. Tuesday night I play the 2 seed, so that will be a much bigger test. But hey, at 40 yrs old, I’m thrilled to have won a round and earned another match.
Edit: Forgot to mention, I strung one of the YY’s with ALU 1.25 @ 50lbs for today’s match. Turned out to be a good choice.

yeah its odd. Not totally sure. But i will say this massage gun has been great so far. Really good for the hips and legs, plus the shoulder feels way looser for me right away when i hit the court. Im doing before and after. Hopefully yours shows up soon.
