Did Alcaraz get the tactics wrong against Sinner?

Problem with Alcaraz outside clay is:
- His serve is too attackable.
- His win% on 2nd serve return is relatively low (vs Sinner at W it was a disaster). Maybe he should adopt a "safer" return, like Rafa?

The truth is more trivial

Fake, Alcaraz is too tall in the picture

No, Charlie was on a 5-match winning streak against Jannik, so he thought it was going to easy from now on! He should've learned, the rivalry should be riveting from now on!

He was passive all match, just like he was against Djokovic at AO. Funny enough followed strikingly similar scripts, Alcaraz comes out aggressive takes the first set in both matches 6-4, gets broken in the first service game of the second set in both matches he then plays passively for the rest of the match while the other guy dictates pace and loses 6-4, 6-3, 6-4 to Djokovic and 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 to Sinner.

Fair play to Sinner, he wasn't holding anything back in this match, kept up the aggression, didn't give Alcaraz a moment to breathe and choked the life out of him but Alcaraz never adjusted and almost seemed ok with losing the match, hardly even heard any of his trademark grunting which is a true sign that he was never really into it. He seemed kind of tired all tournament, he needs a reset for hard court season.

With all that said, Sinner earned it and is now a massive favorite for all the hard court tournaments. I have a feeling that he's going to be setting records, he looks unstoppable tbh. I think Federer's 237 consecutive weeks at #1 is in jeopardy.
237 is very high number. Sinner has to be in fedrer zone to reach that mount everest.

The issue with Carlos for me is that he is constantly looking to his box for answers, whereas Sinner always looks more composed and more focused on the job at hand. Carlos appears to get rattled more easily than Sinner, which is surprising because you would think he knows pretty much what Jannik's tactics will be. The shot that looked to really work for Sinner was his down the line back hand, which was as good as I've ever seen that shot hit.

Damn, you are totally right.
Felt like a Déjà vu but I didn't connect it with the AO match then.
The scripts were exactly the same.
