Did Alcaraz lose yesterday in Paris

Many are mentioning the odd tactics of Alcaraz and how lost he looked out there. And he indeed did seem lost.

I wonder though whether the damage was done in Paris. As great as that win was in isolation obviously, moving forward the fact Sinner should have won really on Carlos best surface perhaps tactically made him and his team concerned and confused as to how to approach the match on grass which suits sinners strength more. JCF looked lost as well in fact he kept hiding behind the wall in the corner alot of the time

To me it's very evident where Carlos has to improve moving forward and that's shot tolerance and the ability to parlay extended rallies and not bail out of them too earlybwith drop shots or 115mph FHs that too often sail.long.

He needs to win the USO it's a big event for him. Needs to keep a 2 slam cushion

Sinner has the opportunity to overcome Alcaraz as the greatest player of his generation.

Alcaraz has to catch up Sinner now, to win the USO, the WTF, the AO 2026. Won't happen. He will remain very tough to beat on clay and it's possible he will continue winning RG but even there it will be difficult.

I'm sure 100% now that if Sinner converted his MP's against Raz in Paris, he would have been on his way to CYGS

Or would Carlos have been more laser focused to defens his crown and avenge the loss? I always felt that the loss in Paris may help Sinner overcome any nerves and also make him even more dialled in. Losses do that to the Greats..that's why they become legends.
