Just wondering if any one knows if the Head Prestige 600, the one that is silver and green, was used by any of the ATP players.

If my memory serves me well, David Wheaton used the Silver and Green Prestige before.

I was thinking Muster used it at one time but was not sure also knew Wheaton did but I am looking for some others if any. Had no idea Mayotte used that racket. Did Goran before the red prestige came out?

i have two of these rackets. i first saw it available in the states
around 1991-92. there were two slightly differing versions, both
made in austria. the first one said "classic beam" on the hoop, the
second one said "constant beam-classic flex". i believe that the
first one was a bit more solid, stiffer. i own the second version.
testing them on the rdc yielded a stiffness of 62-63, weight of 12.2-12.3oz. i also ordered the full length green "clamp shell" bumper guard, such as you see on the red prestige. with this installed, the
frame weighed about 13 oz.
i have seen this frame used by muster(full bumper), mark koevermans, david wheaton, rosalyn fairbanks. from what i heard,
a lot of the other prestige players didn't take to this frame because of its stiffness.
i had the grip pallet changed recently. the old pallet was solid foam, all the way to the handle. the new ones are these hollow pallets that seem kinda cheap.

Brett is right. I have one of each version. If you want to buy mine in L3, feel free to e-mail me. The lime green CAP System must be sweet.

jmckinney, I doubt it that Goran used the green prestige because I've only seen Goran play w/ the I. prestige paintjob and the red.

Goran played at least one tournament with the Prestige 600, with full neon green CAP. It was Wimbledon '91, before the frame was US-released in '92. However, Goran had an awful showing that year, losing to an unknown Brit named Nick Brown in an early round, could've been the first round. Classic meltdown Goran loss, particularly after reaching the semis (?) there in '90. He then scampered back to his Prestige Pro 600.

I don't recall ever seeing Mayotte play this frame. Wheaton played it without CAP. Muster played it from '92-'94, then switched to a Pro Tour cosmetic for '95.
