Did murray switch rackets again or just paint jobs?

He was using a blacked out version, in indian wells he was using the old graphene 360 radical paint job? Did he switch back to his old frame, or just repainted the new racket?

It must be really tough to change from a racket you've been using for 20 years. Surely the best thing would just be minor changes in his PT57 to lower the SW, rather than a whole new frame.

Murray was after more power and larger sweet spot. What you’re suggesting will not help with either one. The TGK334.5/PT334.1 offers significantly more power and larger sweet spot.

It does sacrifice the control though

And even though the PT334.1 does have the PT57A2 layup, it feels different from the actual PT57A he used for many years

I was suggesting the change in weight on his PT57 may achieve that, through lowering and redistributing the lead. Do we know whether his PT57 today is precisely the same as a few months ago?

We don't.
Lowering the weight or redistributing will neither increase the power or the sweet spot size of his PT57A (by the way, there is no such thing as the "PT57")

Nope.
It's really easy when a) you can actually play tennis and hit a ball correctly and b) you're not a racquet-nerd and everything in a) doesnt apply to you

And yet Murray has gone back; obviously he's simply just not good enough/quite in your league? (Additionally, you're the one who joined the racquet nerds’ forums, not vice versa - welcome to the club fellow nerd.)
