Clay soles though. No hard court version? And before it's said I know that the French is a clay event. Haha.

I think the adizeros actually look awesome, they don't even look like a tennis shoe. Could wear those casually.
Might pick up a pair.

Can I wear all court shoes on a clay court? The name certainly implies so doesn't it?
You can, but the Barricade clay sole is more appropriate, there is more width/depth in the grooves of the herringbone pattern and full length herringbone pattern for better traction vs the all court sole. Most folks are happy hust wearing all courts on clay, but I prefer the added traction of a specifically designed clay sole.

Pretty funky looking shoes for sure. I prefer those from last year though (maybe because I'm a sucker for roses on my shoes, ha)

Why does the tongue look so... Long? Otherwise, I really like the design direction of adidas lately - so much more bolder and contemporary than any other manufacturer. Just wish my feet could fit such narrow shows.

Am I the only one who sees a resemblance between these and basketball shoes? That's what they remind me of.

The adizero shoes are the "tennis" version of the QR RUN shoe from Y3. End of last year they released a similar colorway black-red-white to this one with red heel.
I like the tennis version a lot more.

Just received my adizero and they are gorgeous. My wife doesn't care to much for the look, but I think they are an eye catcher. I don't plan to wear them. I am going to collect it.

Oh good idea they are going to increase their prize to millions in some years like those original Luke Skywalker toys in the late 70s... NO.

I have plantar fasciitis and play exclusively on clay. Would you choose the All court soled Boost Barricades or the no boost clay Barricades 2016?

I am currently on the Boosts (I prioritized softness to traction) but don't think I am losing grip.

Since you're dealing with injury, I would stick with the boost. I have the 2015 clay sole and really enjoy the additional traction and less clumping of clay in the treads, but would probably go with the boost version if I was dealing with an injury/comfort issue.

I have a pair of the new Y-3 Zebra Barricade Boosts and they feel nearly identical to the Barricade Boost 2016. Anytime you can get a Y-3 shoe for under $300. you should jump on it. These shoes rock IMO.
