Difference between Prestige Classic and Prestige Tour?

I'm not asking for intense playtest differences...but like, are these frames identical or what? They look EXACTLY the same except that one says "Classic" and the other says "Tour" on the throat. Is it just the print, or is there actually a difference? This would probably also go for the Head Classic Mid...looks exactly the same as well. Red with slight black highlights, CAPs, small headsize...is there a difference?

Well like, I see that the classic comes with a leather grip and the tour comes with a synthetic....is that it?

What is the difference between the PC600 and Prestige 600?
I have a reason to belive that the Prestige 600 (grey/blk/green) is just a pj of the first prestige (red/brown).

From what I understand, the original Prestige 600s and Prestige Pro 600s (also TX Professional) used Twaron in the frame. They are widely considered the holy grail of all prestiges, and the PC600 is the exact same frame with no Twaron. I've never weighed them, but suppossedly the PC600 is lighter. Of all the Prestige mid frames I've tried (TXP, Pro 600, PC600) I like the PC600 the best.

Also, I don't think all Prestige Tours had suspension grips. Like the "star trek" font version? Wasn't that called the Prestige Tour 600 and had a normal grip like a PC600?

The early PC600s had twaron in them -- whether they retained that element beyond the Classic Mid is up for debate. The trek font Prestige Tour 600 also had the suspension grip -- it was coexistent with the Trek font Prestige Classic.

the suspension grip makes a huge difference in the tour classic.
i like that frame better for plow through. the classic (without the tour)
has the standard grip and it has more "feel" and "touch" but I am a fighter not a lover
so I collect as many tour classics as I can find. As far as I know the Classic (non tour)
is the preferred by better players than me for its "feel'.

The 'Classic Mid' would have been a 'Prestige Classic Mid' - the only reason it wasn't is because Head screwed up and lost the trademark rights to the name 'Prestige' in North America for a couple of years. Wilson took the name from under their noses.

Were it not for that, all the 'Classic Mids' would have been 'Prestige Classic Mids'.

Also - they made one minor cosmetic change on the Classic Mids - they did not have the plastic 'collar' at the top of the grip.
