I've hit with the hps 6.1 briefly and i was wondering the difference between the two racquets isnt the ncode 95(16x18)isnt that just the new version of the hps6.1?

The differences are minimal. Tinkering with the strings and lead tape should make both play similarly. - I hope this is true, because I just trashed my HPS and am hoping that the nCode plays similarly.

I have demoed both racquets and like the ncode 95 better. That being said I never played the hps as apoint of reference. The ncode plays lighter, is more powerful, and more manueverable. Both are solid, the hps feels a bit more stable and "hefty" for it's weight. Ncode serves better.

both very good

I played the HPS 6.1 for 3 years and switched to the Ncode 6.1 and I thought the ncode had way too much juice, even strung at 65#. The ncode was stiffer and lighter and a little more nimble around the net than the Hps6.1. I thought the Hps6.1 served better. I liked the 18x 20 ncode 6.1 better than both of them. It seemed to have the best of both racquets qualities. I sold the Ncodes and went back to my trusty 200g MW but I am very curious about the 03 tour....

I love the HPS 6.1. I switched from an overhead hammer 6.3 to this racket. At first it was first it was difficult to adjust to, but the latter results are just too rewarding to give up on this racket. So, if you do get this racket, adjust to it and you'll notice the world of differernce in playability once you hamper the style of play this rackets offers you.
