Thank you, this simplifies the process a lot. There is a lot of discussion on this forum about what each frame does best. Others can correct me if I am wrong but I remember reading that the VCore Pro/Duel G is the Yonex control oriented frame. The VCore 98/100 is power/spin and the Ezone line is spin friendly/comfortable
I was using the Pro Staff 97, I was happy but kept losing, one match I played with the Ultra Tour and it felt amazing, it took me a little bit to regain control but the second set was a breeze, I won again, I think control oriented is what I need and I want to try a Yonex control oriented, I haven't been able to find an HD so I think I'll try the VC Pro 97.There's a bit of overlap with the VCore and Ezone lines nowadays as they're more power/spin focused.
The VCore Pro line is actually a pretty smooth transition from the DR98. I originally thought of switching to the VCore Pro 310g, as I really liked it when I demoed, but picked up an old Blade 98 and started playing with that. Have since been playing the 97 HD though, and that is a very nice stick. Spin potential isn't as good as the DR98 I would say, and there's a lower launch angle, but it's an excellent stick for all court player. It is definitely control oriented, but there is surprising power potential. Some people make comments about the static weight being a bit high, but it's very manageable as it swings very fast (so does the 310).
I am hesitating ordering the HD 18x20. On the one hand it got one of the best ratings ever here on TW on the other side, a lot of people here comment its feel/touch is not like it should be.
How would you rate it compared to the Blade 98 (v7 18x20 if u tried) regarding spin and power?
I just demoed the Vcore 98 and Spin potential and power potential is high. Total other stick than the blades, very easy access to shots, easy to swing but control and touch/feel is ofc on a different level
The Tour G, Duel G , and VCore Pro 330 allows you to take big cuts at the ball and has a lot of plow through for a control/feel frame. If you can wield the 330g it is worth giving it a go.Thank you, this simplifies the process a lot.

Blade 98 v7 beats the YY HD by quite a bit in power and spin, but the HD is more whipped without mods, ime.I am hesitating ordering the HD 18x20. On the one hand it got one of the best ratings ever here on TW on the other side, a lot of people here comment its feel/touch is not like it should be.

I can, used to play with RF97A.The Tour G, Duel G , and VCore Pro 330 allows you to take big cuts at the ball and has a lot of plow through for a control/feel frame. If you can wield the 330g it is worth giving it a go.
A little lead can fix thatI can, used to play with RF97A.
I've read that the VCore Pro 330 is not as stable as the 310.
There's a bit of overlap with the VCore and Ezone lines nowadays as they're more power/spin focused.
It's just the opposite: the 330 is much more stable than the 310, and the 310 is the racquet that many people have felt needed lead in the hoop to stabilize. Folks complaining about stability with the 330 are often coming from heavier racquets like the RF97.I can, used to play with RF97A.
