Out of all the different companies, I only found a selected few that kinda similar to the PS97S. Basically their version of it.
Babolat: Pure Control Tour
Head: Graphene Prestige MP
Yonex: VCore Tour G 310 & VCore Tour F 97 310
Prince: Tour 98 ESP
If anybody played with these racquets before and have played recently with the PS97S, could you compare them to it? Like anything different? Similar? Pros and cons?

Braided kevlar and graphite has a unique feel. The only thing close to it are some of the Dunlops. The sound is also unique. I was sitting on the bench at the local TC when I heard that THWAP braideds give you, and looked up to see the local instructor putting about with his new 97.

Try the Prince Tour Pro 100 ESP, a 16x16 with traditional grommets

One of the highest rated ESP/S type rackets at TW. On sale right now - I bought one here in Europe out of curiosity. Because, like, 60 bucks, right? Strung it with Hurricane 15L at 38lbs. We'll see how long it lasts. I am looking for that old Diablo feel, and sumfin to put the ball over the net with more authority when I am at the service line on carpet playing doubles.

I haven't tried the PS97S, but I've owned both the Tour Pro 100 ESP and the Tour 98 ESP (16x16), as well as the 6.1 95S (18x16) and there's no way the two Princes are even close the PS97S' 18x17 pattern (in a smaller frame).

The two ESP are both great open pattern frames. I especially enjoyed the TP100E, as imo, it shares some of the traits of the textreme technology (crisp and plush). I've never had such insane and easy generated spin/kick serves as with that frame. The major drawback of both these frames is the high launch angle and the pop/trampoline effect of the open pattern. The new textreme tour 100T, with added weight, is a more control oriented version of the TP100E, whilst retaining the crisp feel, power and spin.

I loved the Prince Tour Pro 100 ESP. Like WYK I played with it on indoor carpet here in Europe. I strung it 1-piece with some random thinnish black poly from prince, on a prince 6000 at the club, IIRC at 25 kg.

I hated the Wilson Steam 99S, in particular the balance, which had me hitting with a lower trajectory.
