Different tiers of ATGs.

Who is the "tennis god"? You mean Federer? Djokovic won 4 Slams in a row winning RG when Nadal withdrawed injured and out of form. Federer would have likely won 4 Slams in a row both in 2006 and 2007 if he hasn't faced peak Nadal on clay in both tournaments. So Djokovic cannot be considered better than Federer for the alleatory reason of not having to face peak Nadal at RG.

With regard to the Nadal-Djokovic comparison, it is true that Nadal has "only" won 3 Slams in a row. But Djokovic has won 4 Slams in a row. There is only 1 Slam difference between 3 Slams in a row and 4 Slams in a row. On the other hand, there is a 3 Slams difference between 19 Slams and 16 Slams. So 19 Slams is still a greater achievement that puts Nadal ahead. If Djokovic is ahead, he should surpass Nadal's Grand Slam record.

The number of Grand Slams won in a row is not a GOAT criterion. Budge would be the GOAT under that criterion, because he won 6 Slams in a row. So Budge would be greater than Djokovic under that criterion. Laver would also be greater than Djokovic under that criterion, because he won 4 Slams in a row twice, not only once like Djokovic.
Djokovic = 4 in a row and NO HOME ADVANTAGE like Budge and Laver

Slams aren't the end all be all. Context is crucial.

When draws are reviewed they show glaring variances. When you consider periods of dominance over accumulation and pool of talent.

Borg & Sampras are without a doubt top tier ATGs. Just stop it.

Tier 1: Borg, Sampras, Nadal, Djokovic, Federer, Laver, Gonzales, Budge
Tier 2: Rosewall, Agassi, Becker, Edberg, Lendl, Connors, McEnroe
Tier 3: Wilander, Murray, Necombe, Nastase, Courier

Yeah, no Vilas for me, the AOs are asterisk and his only USO was on clay, common now.

Guys like Tilden and Emerson have too many issues due to the fields they played. Tilden only had to play single matches at the USO during the challenger era despite him clearly being the best tennis player of that period he just didn't have to do as much securing all those titles. Although Tilden is a historical great he's hard to quantify in comparison.
