Dimitrov will never win another title

I actually think that Dimi could become a top 5 player soon, and stay there until probably 2021. I'd say he will win between 2 - 4 slams in his career.
I think Dimitrov is the second coming of Gasquet.

I'd say he will win between 0 - 1 slams in his career.

I am sure Dimitorv will slams but how many I have no ideal. He has 5 to 7 solid years left in him and this may be the last year for Fedal. I don't see Murray and Djokovic sweeping all the titles in the next few years. And that leaves primarily Dimitorv and Raonic who seem serious and motivated enough. Zverev may take over in a few years time who knows. I wonder if his height is a bit of a problem though.

Not giving any spoilers away, but, for me, Dimitrov's performance at the 2017 cemented in my mind the fact that he will never win another title in his career (that's not even another ATP 250, let alone a Grand Slam).

I find that just as people are hyping up a player is the perfect time to anti-bandwagon them.

His backhand is just so weak and crumbles under any pressure.

His movement is so slow for his height.

He has no firepower off the forehand wing.

His serve is pathetic for his height.

Really, there are not many redeeming qualities.

Let this guy sink around the top 75-100 in the world where his talent level lies.
Interesting viewpoint. Thanks for sharing!

Well Dimitrov is way better than Gasquet now. More Davydenko/Nalbandian level.

Haha, so what, he fluked one.

I'll just predict again he'll win another one.

No biggie.
Have to say I agree with you. He likes to party too much to be a consistent force at the top of rankings. This felt like a peak moment for him today rather than the start of winning more important events. I'd like to be wrong as he is a charming guy which charisma but I think I'll be proved right sadly.

OP being burned and trolled multiple times by Dimi as he gradually collects a tournament in each tier

Has now won 250, 500, M1000, WTF tournaments :o

Only level left to win is Major.

Willing to give the OP benefit of the doubt if he posts an acknowledgement of the poor prediction.......

I think he will win a grand slam.

When old man Fed retires, Nadal's depreciating anatomy, Murray's destruction, and Novak's impending chokes, I'm sure he'll be able to sneak one in there.

Tennis is about to enter a dark dark age of mediocrity when the Big 3 are no longer.

Maybe the OP is just practicing the well-known art of the anti-jinx in which case he's done so very successfully. :)

Dimitrov backhand is still a problem, as it easily break down under pressure. Federer broke his BH apart in Wimbledon 2017.
Also, if you look at Federer-Dimitrov matches, Federer generally won net points when he hit approach shots towards Dimi's backhand. His backhand passing shots are no where near Federer and Wawrinka.

His serves are just in the Tsonga/Berdych tier.

He is not going to win French Open. I also expect him to be volley-botted by Raonic in Wimbledon if Milos regains 2016 form because of his problems with backhand passing shots. His chances are USO and AO.

Murray's destruction
If Murray regain 2015-2016 form, Dimitrov is toasted. Also if A.Zverev stop choking early in Slams, he will kick Grigor.

you're nuts. he's going to finish #1 next year...

He took his chances. He didn´t beat any top player to win his big titles this year. Let´s see what he can do next year when everyone is back.

Well you're right about the first part! I hope you're right about the rest! Except I'd love 5 slams!

He has beaten 8 top 10 players this year. 3 in Brisbane and 5 at the WTF, a big tournament. And Brisbane to me is an impressive win given who he beat.
And think about how he had break points against Nadal in the 5th set in AO! Of course I'm glad he lost that in retrospect given what we saw in the final :)

I'm still grateful to Grigor that he lost that match to this day.

Fed would have still won, but it wouldn't have been as magical.

Incredibly stupid, or wishful thinking?

Yup. Dimitrov is a bum by winning the WTF unlike a certain Nadal has won many times :O

Dunno what this thread has to do with Nadal.

It's about Dimitrov not winning another title. Which he won't; this fluked WTF (in which he beat no real top 10 players) will be his last title on tour at any level.

People are such idiots, predicting that just because a player has won something big they'll go on to achieve bigger things. I predict the opposite - this WTF was Dimitrov's last grasp at glory before he goes into terminal decline from next season onwards. Anti-bandwagon always.

Very clever. I see what you're doing here. Keep it up! ;)

Dude. You got exposed in your Thiem thread thinking he was just an inferior Zeballos. He already exceeded even at the expense by beating Nadal on Clay at a Masters instead of a 250 and won more titles than Zeballos.

Dimitrov won a Master and the YEC and you're telling me he won't win anything else?

I only brought up Nadal because he's always been a failure at indoor surfaces and Dimitrov outdid him.

You're either delusional or a complete ID10T by nature.

Thiem IS an inferior version of Zeballos, just luckier to be born into a weaker generation. And by the way, Thiem is also done winning titles on or off clay, you can already see he's in terminal decline.

Just like I still stand by the fact that Dimitrov is an inferior version of Frank Dancevic.

You even fail at being a troll.
