She is right. It was her match to lose and she gave it away. Serena on the other hand got her ass kicked by Kuznetsova so was wrong. Anyway who cares. The womens tour is nothing but clowns today.

The womens game is a disaester right now. Other than an overweight and no longer commited (yet still winning due to the field) Serena Williams it is a mix of:

Aging past their prime greats- Mauresmo, Davenport, Pierce

Players that retired too early- Henin, Clijsters

The headcase underachieving Russian quartet- Kuznetsova, Safina, Petrova, Dementieva

Significant players who cant stay healthy-Sharapova, Venus

Overachieving players without true championship talent or games, atleast not yet- Jankovic, Ivanovic, Zvonareva

Youngsters with potential who havent really proven themselves just yet- Azarenka, Radwanska, Wozniacki

Former shooting stars who flamed out already: Vaidsova, Chakvetadze, Peer

What a sad mess.

Yeah, this list is very true. When Justine and Clijsters left that really hurt the women's game as a whole. And as for Safina, she did beat herself. She has the game to be Kuznetsova but she choked badly. She needs to stop looking at her coach after every point, it shows she is mentally weak and needs him to fall back on. Kuznetsova was focused and never looked at her box (as far as i saw).
