Can anyone please let then companies know there are people that play tennis with a shoe size bigger than 14.............

I have a size 15 and only can buy Nike, adidas(toe jammers), and the ugly new balance.

I know there are monsters on tour that have the same if not bigger. Can the other companies ( babolat, prince, lotto, etc) make some bigger sizes?

Heck.......even the tw exclusive Europe Davis cup shoes and the tw us NYC ones only go to a 13.....wtf??????

Just venting".........

I used to wear 14s, it was hard, then I dropped some weight, gained some muscle, now I wear 12-13s depending on brand.

Sorry for asking but how is "nike, adidas and nb" ONLY?

Bob,

When tw sells 15 different brands of shoes...........need I say more???

Three is slim pickings especially when most are cut narrow. I'm 6'5" and not overweight.

The top three has a lot of shoes, but not many are good performers. Just the same as prince makes a ton of racquets including ones that sports stores sell, but would you play with them?

I'm talking about quality performance shoes that most of us here look for.

It's no different that the major brands are making there apparel to fits hobbits from the shire.

A Nike xxl is in bout as big as a women's large!

:)

IMHO, it is like saying: I can only buy Ferrari, Maserati and Aston Martin dbS :D I think you are fine :)

Maybe they should also make size 20, or 25. Beyond a certain size it's not economically justifiable for something to be mass-produced, so you take what you can get or have something custom made. You should be grateful at least a few brands offer something for you. If they all made that size the market would be so dilluted as to make it a loss-leader. Perhaps chinese foot binding is an option.

Agreed! If you have those 3 to pick from, you're not missing anything, the market is just minimizing the confusion for you.

Hey, I'm 5'10" 170 pounds with size 9.5 feet. Sounds normal, right? Well, my feet are narrow, so I can only pick from Adidas. You have 3 times the number of choices I have!

I'm in the same boat at 6'4 1/2" and size 15. I was using the barricade Vs, but the 6s were too narrow and too high of an arch for me. I was going to look at wilson tour vision, babolat propulses, and even prince T22s, but none come in size 15s! I finally came around to the Nike Lunar Vapor 8 Tour and loved it. Just go with that and you should be fine if you don't mind not having top notch durability.

neil i know what your going through but im a UK size 14 thats a 15 in us, i can fit in a 13.5 but only in asics - thats the brand i generally just look at now. in UK its literally impossible to get a size 14 and in europe (sports gear), so i have to either look at china (generally fake goods branded as unfake) or look to america - both of these are way too expensive especially shipping costs.

i hate just to order from online as most things look nice online until you recieve it

Ordered barricade 6's before in size 16 and lost both toenails. I'm a 15 inike. That's the reality of it.

Ah, sorry to hear that bud. Tough situation, could only advise thick/2 pairs of socks and keeping your toe nails really short (you likely already do these things)

Thx NJ1 for your sympathy. Lol!

Toenails? I had them both perm removed. It just goes back to what I was originally saying about it would be nice to have choices for different fits.

In high school 6'5" was very tall back then, now the kids are all tall it seems. I just can't believe that I'm the 1% anymore. I am what seems to be average now among the teenagers I see.

Yo bigfoot it is not discrimination:) You are an outlier, that is all. I am sure adults males with size 6 shoes have a hard time buying shoes as well.

You should join the Sasquatch Society.

They hold regular meetings and gather funding to combat discrimination against Yeti-Americans. This shoe size exclusion based discrimination is completely unacceptable and shall not stand !!! :)

Beyond a certain size, you are in trouble. There isn't enough business/profit there for most manufacturers to make such products. New Balance might make shoes that big. And there are probably custom shoe makers who cater to those who are several deviations from the mean.

You sound like my wife with the yetti remarks.....lol. If you haven't seen, the 15 are pretty common these days and bigger. Just look at the pro starting to pop on on tour that are 6'4 and above.

Goober,

You must be one of those hobbits from the shire.................a man with a size 6 can get either women's shoes or youth shoes.

Been there done that for the last 10 years. Nike adidas, and nb. Kswiss once in a while but they fit small.

Just saying 15 is not that big anymore, it's becomming common.

If that is the case, not sure that it is, but if you say so, then it is just a matter of time before you will see many more offerings in your freakishly large size. :)

I can honestly say, I don't think I've ever encountered anyone with feet that big. I think anything over size 13, you are in the final 1/10 of 1 percent in terms of foot size.

Anyway, I feel your pain and I hope you find some shoes you like.

Miadidas offers 15.5's and 16's.

This is exactly how I ordered mine. 16 for the left and 15.5 for the right. I just got them today. In most sneakers I wear a 15 and some brands I can even fit into a 14. I have the Barricade 2's in a 16, the 3's in a 16, the 4s in a 14.5, the 5's in a 14.5, 15, and 16, the 6's in a 16 and now custom 7s in 1 16/15.5.

I find with Adidas, especially the 6s, you have to order up a size. For the 6s I couldn't fit into the 16s without first softening them with my orthotics. Now, they are fine. The 7's were perfect in 16/15.5. For the 4's & 5's I can fit into a 14.5, but I don't like playing competitive matches in them. For teaching tennis or walking around they are perfectly fine.

I know that having big feet can be a problem, but I just walk straight to the clearance section or look for bargains online. You certainly aren't competing with too many others on the auction sites. Although, I have several friends in the 14-16 range and one time it turned out that my friends and I were bidding against each other for the same sneakers. lol
