Disgusting spitting on court

Any one else hate seeing players spit during the changeover or even during play? I find it disgusting and unnecessary, but I find that almost all the players do it, especially on clay.

Sometimes I do it too, and it's really this "feeling" you get in your mouth when you put water in, and it mixes with spit and it feels icky inside. So icky that swallowing it really doesn't feel good.

Yup. Snot rockets.

Not so bad on clay. It could get slippery on grass. As for hard court, it's usually hot weather and it'll dry fast/kill germs.

Or is Baghdatis worse? I remember when he was playing at Indian Wells, every time the camera was on him he was doing that. That's not good entertainment!

I spit on the court while I'm playing (if I feel the need to). I usually go over to fence or a trash can to do it though.

I just follow Chela and Hanescu's example. Sometimes I spit on my opponent. Other times I spit on the fans. Just depends on how I'm feeling I suppose.
