Disliking the French Open website

Talk about style over substance. The site is difficult at best for users to find images from the various days of play. Their blog page is a joke. And everything is video but I'd also like to see still images which seem non-existent on the site.

The scrolling interface is awkward IMHO. The simpler the better, IMHO.

And it's the only Slam that doesn't offer live streaming of any matches. I believe the other three do.

In the U.S., I think the French has the most live streaming courts. However they are on ESPN3 and Tennis Channel Plus.

ESPN3 is working fine at the US Open. I haven't tried the official website. Perhaps I should. ESPN3 is nice as I watch most of the matches on replay.

The website is abysmal. I wish every website on the internet didn't try to look like it was made only for people with smartphones and tablets. This website looks like it was designed for simpletons.

The problem is they seem to only have the rights to matches prior to 10am EST this year??? WTF...I was able to see keys on replay, bit nothing from later?

hehe, I thought it was only me. That site is terrible. All I want to see are photos and read some interviews....I can't find either - what a crap site.

I just visited the site.

It is mobile-optimized but I don't think that I would use it, even on my phone.

I couldn't find any match video there - do they have any?

Some of the matches on ESPN are on ESPN2 which I can't get. So not everything is there. Sometimes they do a dump several days after the matches.

yup it's pretty much the worst. the site makes even the most mundane tasks extremely difficult. For example, have you tried finding & watching highlights on the site?!? They are always hidden and/or buried.

Who green-lighted this??

The security guys who thought it was OK for that idiot to rush the court and get a selfie with players.

No love for the site on this thread I see - but at least one person on some thread here in TW did find it good!

I personally hate it. One could realistically make '1001 reasons for disliking Roland Garros 2015'-internet site.

I agree - this year's version is not very good. I was having challenges navigating within the site and thought it was just me until I read this thread.
