Agreed. Even though he did scream towel, it wasn't entirely directed at the ball kid, it was more of frustration outburst and some of it was screaming at his team.Hmmm I would have to say he indeed seems to scream at the ball kid, though I may be wrong (not likely). Oddly, I am not that disappointed by it. Idk why.
Haha, yes!ball kid should towel whip him in the face and see Nole's response. Someone should volunteer just to irritate these entitled pricks.
There’s no excuse for this. Stop trying to justify it.Djokovic is not a bad guy. Hes not the best guy but no one is perfect. In competition you get heated, its intense. Maybe some of what makes it so hard for new players to come up and beat the Big 3 is that players are under such a microscope out there now. You get frustrated or yell a little bit and people will have a go at you. Reality is these are people out there trying to "beat" each other in the game called tennis. Its frustrating and repressing those feelings is not always a good thing. Among players its a known thing and generally accepted as part of the game. Only spectators use it as fuel for the fire.
Yes I know he didn't mean to shout at the kid but you can tell from the kid's face and reaction that he thought it was directed at him. He had a "I'm outta here fast" look on his face.Booooo bad angle. He was yelling at his box and scared the ball kid inadvertently there.
Yes, that is true. These other posters saying he is not yelling "towel" are peaking my interest though. Don't the pros usually wave their hand sideways across the face when asking for the towel? Perhaps wishful thinking though.Yes I know he didn't mean to shout at the kid but you can tell from the kid's face and reaction that he thought it was directed at him. Djokovic has to be careful he doesn't yell like that when a ballkid is trying to hand him a towel so as to avoid these misunderstandings. I posted that vid to show he'd done it before so I'm surprised he hasn't learned his lesson by now.
I know! And we're among the loudest on this matter It's disgusting on so many levels. It is. My views on ballkids having to fetch and carry towels for the pampered players are well known (or should be by now).
Having viewed this though I don't see where a ballkid comes into it. He shouted something after missing that net volley but it seemed to be to himself. I didn't see any ballkid in the vicinity so I'm a bit confused and uncertain about it now.
Also the way he's stressing the second part of the word when in 'towel' the first syllable is stressed. Listening closely, it doesn't sound like the word ends with -el.Yes, that is true. Oh please. You are not qualified to speak for everyone, especially when you have misinterpreted the situation.Despicable... happy no one likes him
