Yessssssssssssss!!!!!

Novak wins 6-3 6-4. This was troublesome at the end but he hang in and won it.

Nobody beats Novak Djokovic 5 times in a row :)

Damn, I got worried for Nole for a while. Glad he pulled it off in the end, though with plenty of help from Tsonga. I am also worried about the big picture. If Djokovic can't last a 3 setter in hot weather, I'm not liking his GS chances.

He will get a chance to play Fed a lot sooner than the French. How about tommorow? Either way Fed owns Djokovic on every surface so it shouldn't be a problem.

I'm glad the Djoker is back. I'd like to see more Djoko vs Murray, Nadal vs Djoko and Nadal vs Murray matches. If Tsonga can push his game a notch higher, it'd be even more fun.

Well Fed has to get by Roddick first. Its 3 sets so Roddick has a chance if he comes out firing on all cylinders. Roddick isnt playing too shabby of tennis himself

I wouldn't be that confident. Fed is still inconsistent and djokovic was playing okay. He's still not back to his best level, but if they both do meet for the semis, I expect a competitive match. Anyways, I'm sure roddick will be playing a lot better than tsonga did.

I predicted Nole to win in straight sets but not like that. Thank god for the win. Up until he got tired he was playing some solid tennis, i like his chances against Federer especially because it'll probably a night session. Bravo.

I truly believe if Fed beats Roddick he can beat Novak too. But both Fed and Novak are having on/off days lately but I still think Fed is the more consistent player. He's beaten Djokovic in their last two meetings as well.

I figured Djoker would win but not in a straight set thumping. I figured it would go 3 and maybe even right down to the wire. But I see Tsonga is showing why he is OVERHYPED around these parts. :confused:

Well their last 5 H2H matches (since Novak made it to top 5) are 3-2 for Federer (2-2 on HC, 1-0 on clay, they never played on grass). This is not an "ownage on all surfaces".

If they meet in the SF it could go both ways.

Novak did not have the "off" day at SEO so far... Did not lose a set yet. Fed gets better as the tournament progresses...until he sees Nadal or Murray across the net... So, should be an interesting match...

I didn't really notice the time in between points or the bouncing today. These reporters are a little harsh. Hope he feels better for the semi.

Those reporters are real jerks. Those questions are way way out of line. Preposterous.
If I was on Novak's place I would just tell them to STFU and get out of there.

Media is clearly on Novak's case for some reason. First I had to listen to that tool Gimelstobe bashing Novak the whole match and now this. He did nothing wrong today whatsoever. Fought hard until the end through tough conditions for him and won. Played some good tennis. If anything he should get some respect for that. Instead he gets these jerk asking him ridiculous questions and accusing him without any good reason. Unbelievable. I am so angry now.

novak's probably right, the ref. realized how hot it was and gave him some more time.

There is definitely some discretion with that rule, good thing the refs. realize that.

I gained some respect for him today. I wasn't watching completely because my stream kept freezing so I wasn't sure why he called the trainer, but he does need work on his fitness a bit imo. As far as the timing goes, he does bounce the ball a lot, but the reporters did not need to harp on it. If he goes over the limit, he gets a warning, end of story. No need to go on and on about.

these guys are hawks, they sense weakness and they are all over it. That's why no smart tennis player will ever get buddy buddy with them, because as soon as they start losing they know the entire tone of the conversations will change. Just stupid.

In the earlier part, Djokovic said he was having stomach problems since yesterday. That's why the bathroom break. Hopefully, he'll use tomorrow's rest and be his best against Roger or Andy.

And yeah, these reporters drain the life out of you. They asked other silly questions that I didn't post. Like how he's not fun anymore and other dumb stuff.
