What a wonderful camaraderie and rivalry between these two legendary players! The way they acknowledge and respect and compliment each other during the trophy ceremony at Cincinnati showed how they really enjoy their rivalry and their battles. I think they will play against each other many more times!!!!

It's really nice they warm up to each other like that like true rivals, like friends.

That Final match was so breathtaking, exciting and mind blowing!!!! The way they broke each other in big moments, saving match points, it's like they were fighting for their life out there!!!! It was a blood bath in a gladiators arena!!! They took tennis to the next level!!!!!!!

Thank you to these two legendary players! Tennis is alive again!!!!

I forgot to add that they also created history by playing the longest ATP Cincinnati match in history!

We want more matches like this!

Beyond the salty mines of TTW and Twitter, these champions actually know one when they see one.
Yeah, when you are actually out there doing the battles you know exactly what sacrifices each player has to make to get to the Finals... They respect each other's mighty effort therefore they value each other and they make each other better and better as players and rivals, and that also make them to be better human beings by respecting each other.

Why did Carlos get so emotional about his brother ?
He was crying a good bit - seems a bit much for a small tournament - after winning Wimbledon and all ...

I think the final made the tournament made it feel like a much bigger deal than it actually was. They were fighting like crazy.

Maybe because his brother was out there watching live, and his brother has been supporting him so much since the start of his career.

"So much so that, after the game, Carlos was visibly moved , even to tears , remembering his brother 's unconditional support since the beginning of his career."

"My brother is here too, it's great to have him here supporting me every day , making me improve and learning from you . Thank you for being here ," said Alcaraz as he burst into tears with emotion in Cincinnati .

Djokovic v Alcaraz is such a special rivalry, they both appreciate it you can tell and the respect is crazy high for each other.

When these two take to the court, it is fireworks every single time.

What a way to hand the torch from the greatest of his era, to the greatest of the future era.

Djokovic getting the perfect ending to his career with this rivalry and Alcaraz getting the perfect start to his career with this rivalry.

there is no bromance, make no mistake about it, alcaraz is way too professional to entertain any friendship with a rival......he is after glory and that is what matters to him......

Masters Titles are considered BIG Tournaments, offering lots of money and ranking points, which makes them far more important than the Olympics.

No Bromance. But the influence Djokovic has had on Carlos game was evident last night.

There is little doubt in my mind that Carlos has worked on his sliding backhand, and his flexibility, virtually doing the splits on a number of occasions.
