Did anybody see that? That made me laugh real hard. Great sportsmanship from both players..and a fabulous match!

It's been done before. Somebody did it at the AO this year. I think Novak's done it before. Of course Novak can afford to give away all his adidas gear since he won't be wearing it anymore after Sunday night. I guess he needs to make room for all the Sergio Tacchini stuff that's coming.

I'm all in favor of anything that gets Novak to take his shirt off, so I say MORE!

I agree.Anything that makes them take their shirts off I fully support!

Unless Llodra takes it too far.

taking off that hideous red adidas shirt is the only sensible thing to do. i recommend that anyone wearing it should take it off asap. and the matching red shoes, too.

but giving it away as a gift . . . now, that's cold.

So they didn't put it on? Good. Even then, not exactly the brightest idea to handle someone else's clothes, with all the H1N1 going around.

What about others who shook Nadal hand. He pick his a@# frequently during every match. Wonder, it smell like cheese or mango. That's not hygiene for sure.

true that the colours of this shirt were pretty ugly... it makes sense if he wants to change of sponsor !
didn't really notice what shirt davy was wearing, but he certainly got ripped off during the exchange.
(unless he was using a murray-like reverse-bra shirt, of course)

I believe Novak Djokovic also exchanged shirt with Ivan Ljubicic.

so he is probably one of those guys that collect sweaty smelly shirts (instead of stamps), and must have a kinda private museum at home.

What does shirt-switching mean? If it means what I think it means, isn't it unhygienic?

It's an interesting custom to exchange shirts at the end of match...I've seen it mostly in football...rugby....team sports usually......
it's a simbolic act really....respect...sportsmanship.....
Nole likes to do it....seen it couple of times....

It looks that Davy asked for an exchange here....and Nole complied :D
It was like....."I almost got you there man...give me at least something ;)
Great stuff from both of them...good match.

They almost did not have a choice. Like a woman playing Clijsters can hardly avoid her kiss.
