Djokovic beat both Federer and Nadal in 3 consecutive Slams

Lew II

G.O.A.T.
He beat Nadal at 2011 WI, 2011 UO and 2012 AO.
He beat Federer at 2015 WI, 2015 UO and 2016 AO.

Federer and Nadal never beat him in 3 consecutive slams, and just once (Nadal) in 2 consecutive slams, when Nole was in his first slam semis (2007 RG, 2007 WI).

Nadal beat Djokovic in same slam for three consecutive years. FO 2012,2013 and 2014.

Djokovic never did so to any of Nadal or Federer.

This shows that Nadal has the highest specific surface peak.

My stat shows that Djokovic has the highest all-around peak.

Nadal has won 4 Grand Slam matches in a row against Djokovic (RG 2012, RG 2013, USO 2013, RG 2014). Novak Djokovic never won 4 consecutive Slam matches against Nadal.

Nadal also won 6 consecutive Slam matches in a row against Federer (RG 2008, WB 2008, AO 2009, RG 2011, AO 2012, AO 2014). Djokovic never won 6 consecutive Slam matches against Federer.

This shows that Nadal can dominate Djokovic on one surface at least but Djokovic can't do that on any surface.

If you have the highest specific surface peak, you have the highest peak.

Think about it. Djokovic never reached the same level than Nadal on clay on any surface.

Djokovic on hard = not as good as Nadal on clay.
Djokovic on grass = not as good as Nadal on clay.
Djokovic on clay = not as good as Nadal on clay.

It follows that Nadal on clay has the highest peak level ever.

Novak didn’t show up to play prime Federer 3 times in a row. AO 09, RG 09, Wimbledon 09 losing the round before a potential meeting I think.
Surely Fed lost many times to denies Novak chance to do it. If I'm not wrong, Fed lost to Wawa in 2015 FO, so Novak couldn't beat him in 4 consecutive slams (he did it on next 3 slams)...

You Fed fans use woulda shoulda too often...

Instead, the beast was unleashed upon Djokovicz.

Here we go again..
Where was this guy Djokovic from 2008-2010?
2008 WIM - Very consistent Safin humiliated Djokovic
2008 USO - Fed wins
2009 AO - Djoko lost to mighty Roddick to avoid Fed
2009 RG - Kohlschreiber beat Djoker
2009 WIM - Haas destroyed him, again Djoker didn't face Fed
2009 USO - tweener, enough said.
2010 AO - Muhammed Ali stopped Djoker

7 straights wins for Fed, if Djokovic face Fed with dignity like Fed always do 2011-2019.

It's an interpretation.

I think the highest tennis peak needs to be expressed on multiple surfaces, especially hardcourt as it's the predominant one.

Agree...

First, usually some beast is necessary to hold Novak...

Secondly, for mote than 7 years Fed need some beast to do his job for his vulturing purposes, because he is hopeless himself... real goat he is... :sneaky:

Yeah, Fed haven't win against Nole in slam, for about half of his career... Another great fact for one goat...

Nadal v Djokovic on clay

16-7

Djokovic v Nadal on hard

19-7

What does this mean?

Istomin and Chung beast... lol.

This

3 wins over 34 year old Fed doesn’t prove much.

Also, 0 slam meetings in any of Federer’s 3 best seasons.

Nobody has ever described Safin that way.

But no, you're right. He was very consistent...

... at having low rankings and not winning any events from AO05 until his retirement in 2009.

Safin: Weak Era underachiever too unprofessional and too lazy to stand up to RF.

He won 5 in a row against Djokovic.. RG 2006, 2007, Wimbledon 2007, RG 2008, USO 2010.

Would you bet money Novak won't surpass him ? Literally the only caveat here is his health otherwise it's a foregone conclusion. Novak is going to retire with better achievemnts than Roger whether us Fed fans like it or not.
If I had to choose yeah I don't think Djokovic is gonna win 5 more Slams assuming Fed wins nothing more. That's basically another three 2 Slam seasons when he's got one more Slam to play before his 33rd birthday.

Going into next season, I'd make Novak the favorite in 3/4 of the slams. If he should even win 2, getting to Fed's record will be very doable.

I do think the next gen will start being more competitive in slams next season but Novak really only needs to pick up 3 over the next 2 seasons, before picking off one here and there afterwards.

Roger winning another major seems pretty unlikely but it's possible.

Nadal would be able to beat any player for 10 consecutive years at RG lol. His RG domination is freaking insane. 4 in a row vs. Federer and 3 in a row TWICE against Djokovic (2006-2007-2008 and 2012-2013-2014).

Because winning five Slams is extremely difficult, especially as Djokovic ages more. Even this year you can tell he's a few notches down from his best (and even a tad worse than the second half of last year).

Not buying it until I see someone who can stop him with any kind of regularity in slams or he picks up a serious injury.

A lot of things Novak has achieved have been extremely difficult, so we can't start comparing his potential to lesser players.

True. We have the next gen to blame for that.

Although Medvedev looks promising...

News Flash: All 3 goats (candidates for GOAT) have cases for their unique greatness, and claims for the mythical crown. If pro tennis were to be abolished today, I'd say that mythical GOAThood is, essentially, a three-way tie.
