Djokovic Calls Vienna 'One Of The Hardest ATP 500s We Have Ever Seen'

“You have six out of the Top 10 players playing here at an ATP 500 event,” Djokovic said. “I think this must be if not the hardest or toughest men’s draw of all-time at a 500-category event, then definitely one of the hardest ones that we have ever seen, that I was ever part of. So the quality of matches from the first round will be very, very high.”

Well, the guy you initially replied to was obviously talking about the whole tournament, not just the finals.
Haha so easy for him to do so. Why couldn't he point out Djoker's Uso 2016 as a reference??? . Its Vienna open, Vienna time. People shouldn't use this as an opportunity to criticize past events especially when they have a truck load of garbage in front of their houses to take care off!!

He has a chronic pelvic injury which has forced him off the tour again possibly permanently so don't worry about it.

Taking potshots at a player who is on the verge of retirement due to severe hip issues has to the be the highest level some are capable of.

Don't even respond to that.

oh, wow.
so how do we check which losses are legit and which one are tanking?
Yeah, Djoker looked like he was trying to win that one. Fed loss seemed a bit suspicious...like Robredo and Millman losses at USO. Could be wrong but Robredo was just too suspicious for me. Delpo loss maybe not because Fed did find confidence vs Rafa that year.

Agassi admitted to lose on purpose vs Chang at AO 96 because he didn't want to face Becker in final.

"
Agassi was critical of rivals like Pete Sampras, Jim Courier, Boris Becker and Chang. In a section under the subject of tanking – a term for deliberately losing – Agassi said he lost on purpose to Chang in the semi-final of the 1996 Australian Open to avoid playing Becker in the final.

“It (tanking) is almost harder than winning,” he wrote. “You have to lose in such a way that the crowd can’t tell.”

was Agassi chasing the GOAT title?
or perhaps he was chasing the GS / Big titles race?
or perhaps he was chasing the weeks at #1?

it's kinda difficult to chase those records if you tank before you can avoid the 2 other guys that you need to beat.

Why didn't he want to face Becker in the final? He held a 9-4 H2H vs Becker at that point (would finish at 10-4) so he can't possibly have been afraid to play him!!!
