Djokovic had the greatest and most inspirational story in spots history. Period.

This is some remarkable trolling.
It is a great and inspirational story by virtue of the fact he achieved so much.
But the greatest? The most inspirational?
And based on some poorly researched facts.
I'm not sure how it benefits Djokovic for Nolefam to missell his life story. Yes, he came from Serbia. But he was one of the top 10% in that country and had access to amazing coaches and ...Oh, I can't be bothered. Nolefam already know all this.

Well, he certainly had the most side-splittingly funny.

Djokovic pretty much never skipped any slams until last years, and he has the weakest era in history of tennis. Yet we still have to hear how he was robbed, every time when he skips a slam for a change.

Nadal skipped 5 years of his career due to injuries Real injuries, not magical ones. This is a player who really had tough luck in his career.
Nadal made every clay court Masters and RG for FIFTEEN STRAIGHT YEARS. His injuries are greatly exaggerated. Clay doesn't magically cure you. The tough luck you stae over and over is a narrative, not a reality.

Just be honest man! Nadal was a clay court maestro and an ATG on other surfaces, but not at the same level as Federer and Djokovic. Him not beating Federer off clay since 2014 or Djokovic off clay since 2013 shows his weakness against other ATGs off oc clay,

If the era is so weak, why didn't Nadal take advantage of that off of clay. Yes, he wons some slow hardcourts at US Open with very weak draws.

A Djokovic fan talking about any other players "weak draws", luck, and faking injuries. Oh brother.

Imagine if he had lost to Alcaraz. He would now be a washed up loser instead of the greatest ever in sports history. Narrow margins

Basically shows you the ridiculousness of these endless goat debates. He has gone from “end of the big three, the new generation is here,“ to “greatest story in the history of mankind; the son of God has risen” over The course of one match.

This. The whole thing is stupid from any angle. I warned others about going overboard on the Alcarez overhype and got called a hater, Djokovic fanatic (good grief at anyone thinking that, lmfao), and other things. I just knew it was best to not go overhypberolic on him too early, and the ridiculous never ending GOAT debates are the epitome of that even more.

This guy really made what seemed impossible possible despite everything that was thrown in his face.

Casuals might not even aware of it but Djokovic is on another level entirely. Even compared to his greatest rivals.

Like really he had 4 Slams robbed since 2020 and he still ended up at the top. The slam race could have been easily at 27-21-20.

What a story and what an inspirational man!
Half of Djoker’s obstacles were self inflicted idiocy but ok.

It's clear who sports writers in the US, UK and Australia especially wanted to end up on top of tennis when it was all said and done. You can downplay it all you like but the evidence is out there in writing for all to see. I can't even remember any article from these countries that put Federer in a bad light in any way even when he did things that were worth criticism, like in 2009 and 2011. There is no doubt that they tried hard to paint Djokovic as a villain when he became too successful. The crowds are mostly Fedal fans and that's fine but the hate he got was over the line in my opinion.
Okay, let's assume those writers didn't like Djokovic comparatively and did write biased articles, how does that exactly equate to "trying hard to stop his ascension" ? How does that affect his Tennis matches on the court ?
You made it sound like the President of some country is pulling the strings from behind the scenes to stop Djokovic from winning.

Maybe the wrong choice of words but they didn't want to see his ascension is what I mean. I'm talking solely about the media, not some hidden conspiracy.

I think Djokovic is actaully held to a lower standard than Fed/Nads, behavior-wise. Imagine the backlash they would get for the Covid stuff or hanging out with war criminals/right wing nationalists.
But with Djokovic it's just, "Well that's just Novak and his wacky belief system!"

Dude is walking PR disaster.

Exactly. He’s not nearly a popular as Fedal and so headlines about him – negative or positive – are not going to get as many clicks, so there’s less incentive to cover what he does, good or bad.

Federer would have been pilloried just as hard in the liberal Western press if he’d organized something like the Adria Tour or publicly refused the Covid vaccine – only the volume of that press response would have been even higher since he’s more well known in the English-speaking world.

Djokovic himself said that he was incredibly lucky in life yesterday. Yes he had adversity to deal with but in terms of tennis, getting mentored and coached by Monica Seles coach from the time he was 6 is a privilege that is virtually unheard of, it allowed him to get a head start afforded to almost no one else in tennis. You're lucky to even be getting lessons at that age, let alone personal coaching from a professional coach. It doesn't matter that Serbia didn't have a rich tennis tradition - Djokovic personally benefited from enormous "tennis privilege." He wasn't coached by his uncle or dad as a child, he was coached by a professional. So this Cinderella nonsense is just absurd and far from unrivaled in sport. LeBron James grew up without a father and his mother could not afford to live in one place for long, they moved from place to place, eventually LeBron moved in with a youth football coach when he was 9 so that he could have a more stable life.
Compared to the pompous and pampered upbringing of Nadal and Federer, Djokovic looks like he comes from a third world ****ter.

No, they still had big 3 highly competitive in majors in 2019/2020....2002-2006 had only Fed vultering
What an idiotic claim. 38 year old Fed is djokovics biggest rival in 2019-20. That shows his vulturing ability. Already the poll has revealed who is the real vulture
