Epic nonsense you mean I hope. Because what is to gain by that? Nothing, but much is to lose. There should never be anything to regret.

He already said he wants to continue until LA 2028. And he wants to give something back to tennis. This is only possible if his potential is fulfilled until the end, because only then any new record by another player is legit. Only if every competitor is his/her own target, it doesn't matter who comes earlier or later in the timeline of sports history.

Federer and Murray retired at the right moment, and it seems for Nadal the moment has come as well. Djokovic will be no exception in finding HIS moment.
