Djokovic has equalled Serena's 23 slams open era record and her triple career slam

But who has the superior mental strength of the two?

Im not sure if it was always mental with Serena (I mean she was volatile) as it was she always seemed fat and out of shape and not dedicated enough to fitness. I mean she should have won 35 slams given her physical advantages over all the other chicks. Djoker never had anywhere near that type of physical advantage over the tour that Serena had

Serena always had company because Margaret Court is on 24 and remains the most Slam titled player in the history of the game (and it's no good saying some of them don't count because they do in the record books) until someone, obviously Djokovic, surpasses her.
I should have been more specific pointing out only the Open Era.
And, of course, Margaret Court deserves all the credit for her sporting successes.
8-B

But if Joker is a mix of Wolverine and Spiderman, among other superheroes.

Serema was like a female nadal with female version of roddick serve ....if it wasnt for her unfit body then she should have won more slams, thats true

After a few years, it seems like she thought she could just show up and smash people off the court. It was obvious after awhile she put little to no effort into much of her game off the court. Very lazy player she was. If she had Djoker's mindset they would have shut the WTA down years ago

It wasn't long ago that he blasted past Graf's all time record male or female as world number one, that he is equalled the open era record for most slams won with Serena....but also equalling her triple career slam.

Serena has 3 Roland Garros and 7 Wimbledon titles, Novak has equalled that feat now.

Oh, and I have to say it....

One Again The Reigning...!!! Defending....!!!! Undisputed....!!! Heavyweight...!!!! ATP mens singles number one player of the world...!!!!! Novak....Djokovic....!!!!!
Just mind you that the grand slam record holder is not Serena, her name is Margaret Court. The media and tennis associations are trying to not to mention her name because she believes there are 2 sexes, a man should be a man and a woman should be a woman.

Djokovic is the GOAT because he holds the most GS titles in man's tennis and people would agree that the greatest tennis player would be a male. That can be proven when Serena lost playing a match with ATP 600.

Still, Djokovic will break Margaret Court's record when he won the next 2 GS.

Court doesn't have 24 slams in the open era, so she has no record.

The difference between open era and before means much less in women's tennis than in men's tennis. Not many female players turned professional before the open era.

It’s like comparing two different sports. No one in the footballing world compares Cristiano Ronaldo and Alex Morgan.
I completely agree, it's not comparable on any level. I've read so many threads with comparisons between ATP and WTA, it's apples and oranges. Please, Serena, Graff, Court, BJK etc... are great female tennis players but their numbers and achievements are way different from achievements in men's tennis. Don't even mention them in the men's tennis threads.
I understand that some people here finding comfort by lifting the bar by throwing WTA records in the mix, but don't prolong the pain, the guy you hate will break them all, sooner than you think. Just accept the reality...
Not a jab at OP, he's probably the most objective tennis fan here, but these are completely different categories and deserve separate threads, there's no comparison between male and female tennis, period.

Maybe you are right, but my concerns are that Court was not in news before 2010, why was that? Clearly someone dug her stats up when Serena was closing up on Graf, isn't it ?

Also, Margaret Court wasn't liked because of her reactionary political and religious views, and that's even more the case in recent times. Billie Jean King wasn't just Court's rival on the tennis court either. They are ideological opposites.
