Djokovic Healed, Ready To Go In Doha

He said he might have been ready to play another set if he had won the first set against Zverev.

Why is it surprising that he can play a few weeks later?
that didn't make sense either....he still had 2-4 sets to play, hours more possibly...either he had a bad tear or he didn't...it's almost comical at this point...I don't take it seriously anymore...he plays or he doesn't, whatever physical condition he's in is his business, unless he wants to post more MRI's to Twitter

you mean almonds and kombucha?

Other potential benefits of red wine include:

  • Cutting cancer risk
  • Improves eyesight
  • Regulates blood sugar
  • Reduces blood pressure

Red wine's probiotics promote gut health by balancing gut microbiota, aiding digestion and nutrient absorption, and strengthening the gut lining.

Aside from the knowledge of our ancestors, who used wine to treat ailments and disease, thousands of studies published over the span of several decades have proved that red wine, when consumed in moderation, can have a positive effect on the health of your heart, improve cognitive function, reduce oxidative stress and even normalize blood sugar levels. When consumed in small amounts, red wine can be considered a superfood that provides powerful antioxidants that heal the body at a cellular level, like quercetin and resveratrol. That’s why the benefits of red wine are so plentiful when you consume it in moderation.

Red wine is probably the best known source of resveratrol due to the fermentation process that turns grape juice to alcohol. When red wine is produced, grape seeds and skins ferment in the grape’s juices, which has a positive effect on the levels and availability of resveratrol.

People use resveratrol for a number of anti-aging and healing benefits, and research suggests that it can boost your health in the following ways: (17)

  • fight oxidative stress
  • support cellular and tissue health
  • protect against cancer
  • promote circulation
  • protect cognitive health
  • prevent premature aging
  • support healthy digestion
  • improve energy and endurance
  • protect against diabetes

Heh, heh, dude makes his presence felt, incredible commitment to add to his illustrious achievements if he can.
Apparently, the decision to play Doha may also arise from Novak's business interests with Qatar Airlines:

Novak Djokovic rewrites history: "I think that with the level of play I had in my victory [at the Australian Open] against Alcaraz, I would have had a good chance of winning against Zverev in the SF, and then vs Sinner in the final."

No lies detected, that was the highest quality match of the whole tournament. He had the game clearly to win it, whether he would have done it is another thing, but he is right in saying he would have had his chances.

Sounds like he likes hypotheticals and asking “if”. A crushing blow to some parts of his fanbase.

peak hypothetical healthy Djokovic?

Grade 2, as 3 is complete tear, but the MRI shown was only 1 slice, so impossible to say how deep the tear was. Normally, a grade 2 on the hamstring would be months, so if he's 'healed' now, it wasn't a grade 2.

Thanks for the clarification. I recall reports of a supposed grade 3 tear for a while there but maybe they were just testing out different narratives.

Its a strange thing to say though although i dont know the context behind it and what he was responding to. The locker room tends to react badly to comments such as these by players, its sort of a no no from a professional point of view to say 'if i had been fit i could have done this that and the other' and i dont think Djokovic has ever said anything like that before so the fact he has does suggest he isnt in happy place career wise currently for whatever reason. By that i mean i get the impression he has some beef with some of the current players, and id include in that Sinner and maybe Zverev of the top players which seems odd given how praiseworthy Zverev was about him.
I think there must be things going on behind the scenes off the court. The good thing is, whatever is going on, we have a laser focussed Novak wanting to win every tournament. Thats what we wanted as i thought once he has the records and OG his motivation would wane with Nadal gone. But clearly whatever is going on has him as motivated as 15 years ago and thats great for tennis.

Just read what he said again. Not sure why he has said it as if im Zverev and Sinner's coach i pin those comments to their bedroom wall!! Very odd thing to do

Ok. That level (QF level) loses to Sinner in straight sets. Its all hypothetical, but Novak has to bring in his peak like 2019 against Sinner of 2025

Untestable so unprovable.

His level in QF was very high. This is not a fanatic making the claims, but the GOAT who just rolled over top 2 contender in last 3 sets.

Same player who was getting out-played by Chainz. Don’t think there was any way he was going to beat sinner, even though he had played him close in the fall
That is your opinion.

You have posted many vile opinions once Djokovic was injured. So I would just refrain from commenting on that.

Given Kyrgios is basically the unbearably obnoxious Deadpool of Tennis, it makes sense that these guys are besties/teaming up now.

Well, you know what they say about Adamantium....when it hardens, it's indestructible.

But what does this article have to do with kyrgios name drop?

Djokovic is playing , should that not make average ttw member happy ?.

A grade 3 hamstring tear typically takes several months to recover, with estimates ranging from 2 to 3 months depending on the severity of the tear and individual healing factors; this is because a grade 3 tear represents a complete muscle rupture and may require surgery in some cases.

Well clearly it wasn't Grade 3.

Look Djokapposum is very real since basically 2010.

But I think Wimbledon is his best chance moving forward.
