Who catches whose slam count first?
Who knows. It’s all down to Djokers longevity, if he can maintain current form until 33/34 then he can absolutely catch NadalIf anybody catches anybody, it will still be Nadal catching Federer, but there is a chance that neither happens. Definitely don't see Djokovic catching Nadal regardless of this result (typical TTW overreaction IMO), but Nadal catching Fed is possible. Perhaps not as probable as some seem to think though, IMO.
Maybe. I doubt it though. Nadal always has RG where he will be the man to beat if in decent form, and he could've easily beaten Djokovic and been holding #18 here. Plus they're the same age. If Djokovic catches Nadal I'd be nothing short of shocked.Who knows. It’s all down to Djokers longevity, if he can maintain current form until 33/34 then he can absolutely catch Nadal
I agree that of both maintain current form it is unlikely. But even coming off a massice lapse by Djoker I think Rafa has proven that more inconsistent player in terms of form. On top of that I’m doubtful that Rafa will have the same longevity that Djoker will.Maybe. I doubt it though. Rafa has already had more longevity than Djoker in a sense. Nadal has been winning majors since he was 19 which is a huge reason why he has the current lead of 4 slams. He pulled away from Djoker in that time when Novak was in the wilderness. And he still looks fit as ever, maybe even fitter than Novak himself.I agree that of both maintain current form it is unlikely. I guess we’ll see. Rafa’s spoken about the perm damage to his knees in the past. That extra weight and defense adds upRafa has already had more longevity than Djoker in a sense. I think the longevity question about Rafa has been effectively answered and is an old and tired question tbh.
It’s hard to predict anything!Knee jerk reactions everywhere.
None will reach Federer's 20. Nadal is the most likely to add to his current tally as he's the strongest at his pet slam, but all of them are bound to decline hard sooner than later.
