Can we stop with that please. I'm Serbian and I'm really getting tired of the victim card played around by my fellow Serbians when it comes to Djokovic. "They don't like him because his a Serb!" - like that means anything to a guy from the US. It's always the victim card.

They don't like him for the same reason I don't like him, because you can see it in his face that he feels like he's being wronged when the crowd is against him he seems angry, he also probably thinks "they don't like me because I'm a Serb" but that's not true. It's the pettiness of his behavior. I don't like a person who want to be loved as much as he wants to - it's off putting. And then he gets angry when he doesn't get what he wants. And then he starts acting like a victim. I don't like that in people.

The ironic thing is if he showed up one day with an "Yeah you don't like me, I don't really care, I'll beat the s**t out of your favorite anyway" attitude instead of trying to play nice he would have 10x more fans.

p.s. I am a fan of his tennis and of his accomplishments, especially since he had to play in the Federer/Nadal era so I don't cheer against him and I'm happy when he breaks records but as a person I just find him unlikable.

Well then, apart from USO 2008 and Madrid 2013 when was he not cold calculated?
Being good and making nice gestures does not mean seeking love and attention. Some people would never think the guy is not acting but really behaving like that for real.

Please do not hate, appreciate Novak for what he is doing. Federer had his time to shine and he made the most of it. Nadal is on the decline but may or may not come back. One day Novak will face the same fate and the cycle will continue. Three of these players have taken tennis to new heights, those that try to diminish the achievements of all three are pathetic and insecure to be honest. When all is said and done all three will have claims to be the GOAT and all three will be known as the three greatest players to have ever played the game. The level of tennis speaks for itself and the numbers back it up. Appreciate what you are seeing because when it is over the tennis landscape will be full of surprise winners left, right and centre as parity will be restored and the age of dominance will fall.

No one is playing the victim card, there are posters here which my comment was directed to, which is factual. (They do troll because of the nationality difference) As Lawyer said, personally Nole don't give sh*t about haters e.t.c.... if anything that just drives him. We all love tennis here, and the ones who are lucky enough to play understand... however there are trolls here like any other forum. The scoreboard is what counts though.

I doubt Fed will win another slam, and I doubt Nadal will win another slam, so Novak will probably end up with 14-16 slams at the end of his career. Actually, there are some people who believe that Djokovic losing Wimbledon finals in 2013 was very bad for his legacy, while Nadal losing in the 1st round is not a big deal, and shouldn't count against him.
