Djokovic is done

and thats all folks! final slam count will end at 15 slams well below rafa at ESTIMATED 19-20, and FED at 20-21.

Can't see him winning anymore slams. The 3 slam run last year was a 'dead cat bounce' only followed by another form slump again following another AO victory.

Cant see a player coming out of two substantial form slumps, especially now this is at the very end of their careers.

It looks again like a combination of injuries, sickness or a lack of motivation again. Is pepe or some other spiritual guru around?

Discuss.

Based on current form, Federer will be grinning at Wimbledon....

so rafa's a genuine threat at WIM, based on 2018 form(where he should've won the tournament if the roof was open).

Fed is in the mix with djoker and rafa. No one else in contention.
Rafa only made it that far due to avoiding all the big hitters (yet again) and the grass court being dried out due to the uncharacteristic heat. It was playing like clay.

The weather in England is much cooler and damper this year. Draw permitting, Nadal gets bounced before the Quarters.

Yep we heard this before about Nadal and Fed. I don't even like Novack but he will win 3-4 more majors

If anything - I think Djokovic goes into Wimbledon in decent shape and as strong of a favourite as he's ever been. Lots of guys have the game to trouble him on HC, even more on clay, but on grass with his serve and return it's difficult to see who can beat him there. I'm picking a Federer - Djokovic final based on what I've seen.

He lost in 5 sets in a Semi match after winning the 3 preceding slams. I doubt he's toast.

Not only have Nadal and Fed come back, but so has Nole himself. And then there is del Potro who has come back from all sorts of injuries/surguries. I'm not sure about Djoko winning 3 or 4 majors, but he's a great player and very well could.

Why do people count out champions every time they have 1 bad loss. The OP is clueless and knows nothing about tennis. I heard this about Agassi when he went to a rank of 140 then came back and won 6 slams. Sampras was washed up then pulled out a US open at the end.

How quickly we forget. That when Ultron shows back up the trolls will run and hide. Ultron is not affected by wind and weather conditions, or any other opponent - he just destroys all and time goes on.

I agree about the USO. AO and W however happened 9 or 10 years ago. That’s a long time from now...
Rafa won the USO in 2017, made the final of the AO this year, made the semis of both Wimbledon and USO in 2018, made the final of the AO in 2017 as well. But yeah, he can only play on clay.

He can play on all surfaces but he hasn’t won AO and W in a really long time. I think it’s fair to say his 2 best slams are RG and USO and even at USO, it’s also fair to say that in 2017, he won it against a particularly depleted field. Since 2016, Nadal has won 14 titles, 11 of which on clay. (Or 13 out of 17 since 2015, with half his non clay titles in minor events)

From being the best of all to being finished in a single thread, only here.
You do not have to be cyclotimics like Lord Byron was.

He can’t be FINNISHED or else Head racquet manufacturers would be unemployed, PTSD counselors would be idle with no scared ballkids and anonymous chair umpires wouldn’t be able to make a name for themselves when promptly calling the scores.

Until proven otherwise? So the 3 USOs, 2 Wimbledon and 1 AO are just a figment of our imagination??? o_O
He has won them all, however aussi Open and Wimbledon were a very long time ago. It makes it unlikely he wins either again. Us open he has the best chance, as he won it recently so if he can win there and keep winning the French he’ll overtake Fed. However, Novak will be a big problem for Rafa off clay, as you’s found out last few slams and before.

So you're one of those people who thinks tennis started in 2011 eh? All the matches and slams won before then count every bit as much as any won after. Rafa made the final of the AO in 2017 and 2019. If he has some luck by avoiding injuries this year, he'll win another one soon. But if after watching Djoke dragging his butt in Rome and wobbling around like a drunken sailor in Paris you still think Djokovic is going to win everything he plays, have at it.
